Seems like a few moments to sit and relax for the two....... to maybe reflect on what has happened and what will come

Outstanding images. Jonathan. I really like the last one of Difta with her head on her paws and the fire in the foreground.

Thanks! I was torn on using that or the other as the main. In the end I used the main one as the focus was on the fire and I liked how the soft blur gave the dreamy cozy feeling I wanted.

Beautiful imagery, makes me yearn for my old home. Only in my case, it was a cat curled up in front of the fire. Thanks for provoking a good memory.

I also have had cats and in general love most animals but admit to a fondness for the furry mammal types above all else.

Glad it evoked a good memory and thank you for the warm comment.

Thanks Erwin. I had resurrected some old presets and got them working with just ENB (removed the SFX) and this was the result. Found the mood was perfect for the Inn.

I was thinking of you per our chat on my other post. These are rather dark shots but dark in a comfortable, cozy, and warm way I think. This ENB lends itself to this type of imagery.

I wish Wolf had been smiling though ... but he isn't like Grim who tends to be perpetually cheerful. Wolf is a bit more gruff in character.

    This is just crazy, Jon.

This evening my family had beef stew for dinner, and after dinner we sat by the open fire and talked quietly together and drank mead (I make my own...this time it was flavoured with sweet apple and stem ginger).

The only thing missing was the thunderstorm....but this is Ireland, just give it time.

Life imitates art, my dear friend.

    Have a good one.

Oh that sounds so nice Les. Even homemade mead! Not to mention Ireland which is one of my favorite countries right up there with Norway. Such a great description of your evening and glad someone gets to enjoy my little dream of a cozy night.

You wrote your dream, my friend and I was privileged to partake of it this evening.

We shared it across all that country and across the ocean....what a world we live in!
