I'm with, Janswin. The last shot is also my favorite! I'm curious to see if the party can survive the upcoming dragon encounter unscathed.

I am delighted you really like that shot, Bison, that moment before their plan began, with how Akhaz'iir and his band watch out for each other there is a good chance they will come out unscathed though a dragon is no regular foe

As black maid also said you released the story during my holiday. I am catching up on my reading and this a good time to read up on your story,..
It is a very nice continuation from the events at High hrothgar,.. It is obvious (knowing the main story) what needs to be done next and It's nice to see (also in the images) how they go about it,..
The part between Edrelle and Dimitri is also very nicely written, the are a very nice couple and it's obvious they enjoy their company very much,...
The last image is also my favorite,. it's a great teaser shot,.. knowing what's going to happen next,..

I am glad you are all caught up on the tale as well, Janswin
Good to hear this chapter makes a nice continuation from their time atop that great peak. I am sure most if not all know what Akhaz'iir will soon face, I am really glad you like seeing how they go about those tasks in words and images.
I am happy you liked that part between Edrelle and Dimitri, I always like writing about their moments together, they do very much enjoy each others company that is true, they really value the time they have together.
I am glad that last image caught your eye, that it makes a good teaser shot for what is to come

You told us a very interesting story about Carril ... it`s nice told And I like so much the Love-story between Edrelle and Dimitri. You described them so gentle ....I felt to be a little mouse beside them
Nice, how they think about little archers

It is great to hear you enjoyed catching up on the story, Blackmaid

I am very glad you found the story Carril's past to be interesting and well told, was a bit of a challenge to write. Warms my hear that you like the love story between Edrelle and Dimitri so much, they are gentle and tender when they share a peaceful moment, glad you felt as if you were nearby. Hehe, they could not help but wonder what it would be like to have a little archer or thief

A great and dangerous adventure does lie ahead for Akhaz'iir and his band and I look forward to sharing it

I missed that feeling of a team sticking together, that's practically oozing from your tales. Your characters truly create one collective protagonist together, since their bonds are so strong. I really like it: it gives me that warm, cuddly feeling while reading your stories.
I liked the description of Whiterun, very brief (after all, we all know Whiterun, our in-game alma mater), but so acurate. "The carved heads of dragons peered down at the streets as the waking city-folk went about their usual routines, stopping at a market stall for ingredients to a morning meal, taking a moment to read under the leaves of the Gildergreen whose hue seemed to have painted the sky . . ." - that was so lovely, it gave me that vibe of a peaceful city, the one you could settle in and simply live your life. And then you had to ruin my calmness by adding the tension underneath the blanket of peace
But I guess I can forgive you, since we got some sweet moment between my dear Edrelle and her loyal Dimitri. And the description of Riverwood, as "a leaf floating on a stream" - so imaginative!
And now they're going to catch a dragon... there's going to be some thrill, I'm sure!

I very much like when bands of adventurers that get along very well and have strong bonds between each other in novels I have read, shows I have watched and I like to write about such a group and the relationship between them in my tales. Makes me smile that it gives you a warm, cuddly feeling to read my stories.
I am glad you found that description of Whiterun was an accurate one, had a lot of fun with that one, certainly always gives me a sense of calm that city, it does seem a place where one would feel quite comfortable settling in. Sorry about ruining you calmness, will not be too long before that tension fades from the city once more
Good to hear those sweet moments between Edrelle and Dimitri made up for that loss of calmness. Being one who has walked along many a stream on hikes in the forest, seeing leaves floating gently down inspired me for that description.
Akhaz;iir and his band are sure to find the task to catch a dragon is not a dull one

Wonderful new chapter, so beautifully written! It is aways a pleasure to read about Riverwood, this place certainly is dear to Dragonborn, for it was like the place where hero began his journey and to see mentions of Riverwood is always heartwarming.
It was very interesting to read about Carril revelations about the past that held such great impact on Akhaz'iir and changed his life. Carril story was a sad one and it is always heartbreaking to see love turning into indifference or even hatred and betrayal. Carril story sure gave darker edge but it was interesting to see that despite his deeds Akhaz'iir's mother gave him a second chance, a chance for redemption and atonement for what he once had done.
the scenes with Whiterun, about Aela and Tacita and of course of Dimitri and Edrelle made a lovely contrast with Carril story since they were lighthearted. Edrelle and Dimitri are amazing, I love them and it sure would be awesome to see what their child will look like and what path he or she will chose... however Edrelle and Dimitri are right for it would be wise to wait for things in Skyrim to calm down before thinking about the child.
And looks like Akhaz'iir is up to capturing a dragon and I sue look forward to see it! Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful work!

I am sure many Dragonborn and adventurers of many realms of Skyrim have some fondness for peaceful Riverwood, Akhaz'iir spent much time there before I started writing his stories, it is such a nice place for some respite and warm moments far from the troubles in the rest of Skyrim.
I am happy you found it interesting to read of Carril's past, his decision did have consequences on Akhaz'iir and his family, consequences he deeply regrets causing. There is certainly some sorrow in his past, Carril does feel betrayed but he has never had the chance to speak to Tuine and still does not know exactly what happened, there might still be some love between them despite their time apart. Akhaz'iir's mother is quite a good judge of character and could see Carrils great regret for what he had done and his desire to atone for it.
I did want to balance out the tale of Carril's past with some more light hearted moments. Puts a big smile on my face that you love Edrelle and Dimitri, I have been thinking about what their child might look like and what her or she might grow up to be which is why I really wanted to write that scene between them. They did think it wiser to wait for things in Skyrim to calm down before thinking more seriously about having a child, they would be glad you agree.
Akhaz'iir does have quite the trap to spring to catch a dragon, glad you look forward to that seeing them face that challenge. Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts on the tale, Nataly

A great tale with a lot of meat in it Alexi. First one of the shots I really liked because of how you took it - it made that part of Riverwood look new and different:

I also smiled at the comment about where they camped as I always camp there and never indoors. I really like that little camping area on the edge of town. A leaf floating above the deeper currents of the world is a nice way to describe the town. It has its own special reality and hope it forever keeps a sense of peace. it is important to know there is at least one place in the world removed from strife - a goal to strive for - to get the rest of the world at the same place.

Enjoyed the revelations about Carril among the Khajiit and more about the past of Akhaz'iir. A rough and sad past for Carrill and definitely a darker tone to the story. It is good that he is trying to make amends and seems fitting to the personality you have portrayed of the man.

The way you described the group coming into Whiterun was well done - and the comment about plugging their ears to the constant shouting of the Talos monk brought another grin to my face.

You built upon the love between Edrelle and Dimitri nicely with the dialogue about having a child and the playfulness at the river - I like those sweet and tender moments between them.

So while the thief's part has a moment to rest and enjoy themselves in Riverwood the other band is getting ready to capture a dragon :-)

It was a bit of a challenge to fit in all I wanted to say in this chapter, especially in Carril's telling of his past, I am delighted you find it a great tale, Jonathan ^^ The angle of a shot sure seems to be able to change the feel of a place, glad that happened in that shot, it fun to try to take shots of a place you have been before in a different way.

I am glad that comment about where they made camp made you smile, I do very much like that little camp too, with the vine covered stump beyond, looks like a nicely sheltered little spot. In a previous story I had described the village as an island of calm on a stormy sea and I wanted to describe it following the same theme and I have memories of watching leaves float down a stream, always though it was a peaceful sight. Riverwood is a unique little pocket of Skyrim, being so calm, does motivate Edrelle and her friends to try to do their part to bring some peace to other places.

It is great to hear you enjoyed those revelations about Carril's past and those missing pieces of that of Akhaz'iir. The past was not particularly kind to Carril, one he cared for seeming lost to him, a mistake weighing on his mind. He is not the kind to try to escape responsibility for his mistakes, glad that fits the personality I gave him.

When I was thinking of how to write about their arrival in Whiterun I felt like describing the mood of the city and how Akhaz'iir and his group picked up on it - glad that comment about the loud monk brought out a grin, I could not resist commenting about him ;-)

I did want to show a glimpse of the love between them growing ever stronger among their usual playfulness - I am so glad you like those moments between them.

Does look like Akhaz'iir and his band aren't going to have as much respite as Edrelle and her friends, setting a trap for quite the foe
