About this image

Rhiaan T'Mura | Redguard |Huntress

This is my second rendition of Rhiaan, she just looked too default in the first version.

Rhiaan is a bit of a lone wolf. Her parents died when she was young defending their land against the Aldmeri Dominion in the ensuing turmoil in Hammerfell after the Great War.
She was still an infant, and has no memory of her parents.
She was taken to live with her aunt in Cyrodil in the town of Skingraad. Rhiaans aunt was not the best role model, a frequent user of skooma who had the tendency to disappear for weeks at a time.
Rhiaan grew up learning to fend for herself and to not rely on anyone. She was not a bad child, but she wasnt a good child either. She simply did what she had to do to survive. As she grew older she taught herself to hunt. She was gifted, her years of penny pinching to survive made her light on her feet. She caught the attention of a Bosmer hunter named Godras who supplied meat to the traders in town. He was a great hunter, one of the best, but the years of war had left skilled bowman in great demand. In a twist of fates, Rhiaan became Godras' apprentice. He taught her everything he knew, and she helped him keep the merchants stocked. Rhiaan had always blamed the Altmer for the death of her parents, and had no love for the Wood elves for siding with them. She was very reserved around Godras at first but soon her feelings of mistrust left her. Over the years, she began to see Godras like a father figure. He had no loyalty to the Dominion and cared little for the politics of the world, once you were outside the city gates, none of that mattered, you were on your own. He taught Rhiaan everything he knew. How to track, how to remain unseen, remain unheard, how to read the elements, how to draw a bow, and how to loose an arrow not where the target is but where it is going to be. She learnt how to make fire, how to stay warm, stay dry, how to protect herself from the winds and how to always stay alert, even when resting. She learnt how to dress a carcass, how to skin a pelt in one piece, and how to use every part of the animal and leave none to waste.
But Godras knew she would leave. She was never destined to spend her life in one place. She had heard amazing tales of the northern lands, of mountains completely covered in snow, of giants wielding clubs as big as a man and of the mammoths they tended who's every step shook the earth. On her 19th year, it was time for her to move on, to explore the world that was at her feet. She rolled up her bedroll and ventured north, to the lands of Skyrim.
