About this image
I'm doing a side-project as I'm nearing completion on my main house, and I'm really excited about this one. It's been surprisingly smooth so far, though that will probably come to a halt.
This is a very small cave with a desk-area, a tanning-station, a kitchen-area, good storage-solutions and this garden-in-a-wine-barrel.
I haven't tested it yet, but I should be able to put 3, or maybe even 4, planters in there.
The cave lies halfway between Whiterun and the road leading to Dawnstar/Windhelm, so it's in a snowy climate. I came up with this cool ice-melting apparatus for a lore-friendly way of explaining how I get water for my plants (and to drink!).
The lamps are just placeholder - I don't know what the final result will be, and they will be properly attached with actual knots around the beam. I will also add a very long stick with a hook on the end, for opening/closing the Cave-window. It won't be animated; it's just immersion/lore for the garden, and an excuse for having an open-fire in the kitchen-area (and not suffocate on the smoke).
No promises yet, but I am toying around with a script that might allow users to pick between 3 different color-schemes for interior decorations. Regardless, I will definately try to incorporate blue as a color this time.
Very excited about this one so far!

Not using any player housing this play-trough (sleeping in inns and using my chest at the thieves guild for stashing) but I'll be tracking you for when I need a home!
This Cave will end up costing 2000 I think. that's a good entry-level for most beginner-players.
My main project will also cost 2000. I think I've come up with a good, immersive way of solving the purchase of the home.
I will basically write a bit of flavor text about how you discover a dusty, abandoned cave (this will be a former wolf-den), and cleaning them out will take time, sweat and some coin to pay for fabric, pottery and basic pans.
It should work well for Cave homes, that generally don't have very expansive outside areas.
BTW: My Hatch house might be a good house for a Riften thief. It takes less than a minute to run from Riften Stables, and it's kinda thiefy in style.
