My internet is down still - hope to be back online Tuesday afternoon. But I have power so been playing a lot and setting up posts which I upload at the library or at work. But means not a lot of time to respond at the moment. I will catch up once my home internet service is working again.

I love this set. Definitely got an "old school" feel to it, as in Skyrim seemed still novel and fresh. Very nice quality to the shots, though I do prefer your ENBs, no offense to Ruby : ) BTW-- What textures are you using on that lovely shepard picture linked on the end? Is that like 8K with Dogs of Skyrim? :-JGood looking dog that one.

Thanks Gak! Ah those first days of Skyrim when it was all new! So exciting even the fact that I played with no mods or ENB (didn't know about either at the time) didn't matter. I suppose when you don't know what you are missing it doesn't matter :-) I had 600 hours into Skyrim before I tried my first ENB and had only one small mod installed.

My current favorite ENB's, if curious: Vaermina (Somber Lut Sepia), Jyggalag (Somber Antique), Insomnia ENB (which I got off sweetfx somewhat so can use again), Ruby ENB, and True Vision. Insomnia CGI and NiceENB are two more favorites but I can't use them anymore because they rely too much on SweetFX for effects and I can no longer run SFX with Skyrim thanks to Win10 and Nvidia Dx9 conflicts.

I use the first two 90% of the time as they are the only ones in the list that give the skin tone results I like (that I can use - Insomnia CGI and NiceENB give some very realistic tones) and the nice antique/vintage feeling I like. The other three I prefer for landscapes and non-character shots.

As for the dog, well mod author Mother_Nature still tends to make the best textures I have ever seen :-)

Nice run through of this quest. Grim sure knows how to lay across the part of the bed where you can't get in there without giving him some love.

Very beautiful and atmospheric set, it is very interesting to see some of Grim flashbacks about the past! Such lovely scenic captures too with serene mood.

Grim sure knows a lot about stealthy approach, since that mission required a great skill of getting no detected. Also Grim did surprise me with his befriending of skeevers, whom many other people see only as vermin and nothing more. Great to know that no one was hurt during that mission and even bees have escaped. It was lovely to see carefree and flirty Fyrulf too, such nice cameo.

And it is very lovely photo of real Grim, he looks good and looks like he is in happy mood. Hopefully your Internet will get restored soon!

Thanks Nataly! I figure you might recognize much of what is happening since you know Grim from the beginning.

Was a very fun quest as I took it as a challenge to complete it all in-game and no failures. Was very pleased when Grim managed it. I can't say Grim considers Skeevers warm and cuddly but he knows not everything in life looks beautiful and that even Skeevers have their purpose. I also like I was able to do it with no violence - Grim is trying to keep damage to a minimum while working with the guild.

I am back online as you can probably tell and very happy to have my connection restored. Grim is also doing well and he is stable again on his weight.

Really nice quest that one, but I think it's really oddly positioned for a low level thief, unless you have some experience under your belt then your not getting through there undetected and if you don't it usually turns into a companions quest.

But if you have a few levels in the appropriate skills then it can be done, I think one of my characters used a bow to get the guards to leave their stations, by using the arrows as a decoy and shooting in at walls which where opposite to where i was.

Always did like the "ester egg" with the dead thief in the locked room in the tunnel that Vex tells you about. It also features a certain book which hints at a lock-picking mechanic which is in the game, but most people are oblivious about, reading is good, nice one Bethesda

Also SWANS! Love that mod, especially the ducks, the sounds they make, makes me drop whatever I was doing so I can check them out

Nice set Jon, I do like the one with Fyrulf, probably because we don't get to see him as often.

Many thanks for the comment and feedback Raccoondance!

This is a very hard quest for a low level thief and agree completely. Very hard to do it without ever being detected and without any violence. It was my first time doing it and my third time doing the quest I think (Grim's second time and I did it once on a Grim-prototype character I had made but discarded shortly after). Using the arrows is a great way to distract - should have tried that! Its the elf in the bedroom that I find so hard to pick pocket the way he is hiding against the shelves. I also love the thief who died in the locked room - a favorite of mine.

I have a big story on Fyrulf if I ever find time to write it. He and Marrok are supposed to be a team if I decide to return to Marrok at some point.

Great set! I like the underwater capture-I took all of my underwater flora out to squeeze a little more performance out of my rig so it's nice to see

Thanks Sky! I think the flora might be effected by my grass settings which are at 20 so it tends to be really thick. I liked swimming in it and only wish Beth had provided deeper water areas and more to do underwater.

Great looking set and nice memories too, I remember some of his thieves guild exploits using his ranger like skills to slip in and out of shadows and befriending and protecting the skeeva's which most others would only see as Vermin.

Hope your back up and running at full steam soon

Thanks Corf! All better now and faster than ever as my old cable modem couldn't handle the speeds I have access to with my account service. So the new modem is about 15% faster on internet download/uploads which is nice. Nice to be online again. Skeevers are vermin but they do have their purpose and Grim understands that nature isn't just about the beautiful creatures but all life.
