I'm very fond of the Dwarven architecture and the ruins of the lost Dwemer folk. I did struggle a bit with this whole steam-knowledge and the mechanical guardians though, because it didn't fit at all with my vision of dwarves. Today I'm more settled with it and have a better understanding for the Dwemer technology, even if any steps towards a more advanced understanding like machinery and gunpowder, etc is a big no go in my own fantasy world. I like to keep it more toned down.

The mix of light and dark was really the main reason for this shot, although I do like those ornamented stone towers and marbled floors too...
