      Thank you kindly, dear!

That's very true which I just told Les as well. It sure wasn't easy being a woman during the Dark age, especially if you were also poor. I'm also quite fascinating about certain historical eras and the Middle Ages are probably the most likeable to me as well, even if it was a very harsh and cruel world...

I read your comment to Erwin and now I understand the meaning and the symbolism of this shot.

It is a desperate pity that she was hanged for the simple act of defending herself.

    Really powerful, Rick, my friend.

At first I wanted to upload a version of this song with an English translation of the lyrics to better explain the title. The only one I found though had quite poor audio quality, so I had to give the story away in shorter terms in the comments field instead. It is indeed a very cruel and injust song, but it was also sadly the ordinary day for the poor - and women in general I'd say - during the Dark ages...

Glad you found it enjoyable even if the song is in Swedish, Les. I didn't think the language would be a hinder for you though, not since the introduction of Garmarna...

Well, Derek... The rain is symbolic in this shot...or more so in the title since the song is a very cruel and dark one if you know the lyrics...

That's probably because this isn't the bridge to Riverwood...

It's very similar though, I give you that now that you've mentioned it, but this is the bridge just near Abandoned Prison before reaching Mixwater Mill on the road to Windhelm. Probably why it looks more forested too...

The title to this shot - and the song - doesn't say all that much if you don't know the lyrics, but it's a very cruel and sad story about a nobleman - The King's Man - having his way with a young peasant girl until she defends herself and kills him with his dagger. For this "crime" she gets hunged since he was both noble and a man...

Very cool hearing you like this even if he sings with a Swedish dialect!

      Thank you kindly, Music!

I don't stop that often to scan the area for shots when the clouds are bright and the day seem peaceful, but I'm glad I did this time. As you describe it, I find it rather idyllic too, so maybe that's a lesson to learn - it doesn't always have to be dramatic or grim...
