About this image

I didn't use any references (probably should) and this was my first time making a character. Took a good hour and fifteen minutes of my time :/ Help??? I need some help with using the sculpting part too like I can't seem to get the face to be smooth.

i recommend lowering her jaw line, not by much though and then try raising her cheek bones a little.

the cheek part just go back and forth until you find the right level, but the jaw line should be lowered at least a quarter inch or so.

also what race is she? that is always helpful for advice.

I generally do not like to give opinion on criticism, but I will say that sculpting a face generally takes the amount of time you put into it. The more you spend on your face the more you learn and become better as you go. People who have been doing this for a while it comes pretty easy routine most of the time. Just see what you don't like and keep going at it.

I can speak for many that it's always a trial and error and it takes a lot of hours put into it. I mean a lot of hours.

A general starting point is using references to get an idea. Faces come in different shapes and sizes just like bodies. Find something to go with and give it a try. :)

Oh, and different face textures give you different results. You'd be pretty amazed how textures can make a big difference.

      Wow, nice insight.
I currently use Fair Skin Complexion for CBBE
Are there any good textures that you can recommend?

      My current build is:
      Intel i5-4690K @ 3.5 GHz
      1600MHz (2x4) 8GB RAM
      MSi Radeon R9 390 w/ 8GB VRAM

Oh, and btw, how do I change skin textures? Say from the FSC that I've installed already to say... SG Textures Renewal?
