About this image

Through another cavern occasionally strewn with old Nord carvings of unknown purpose he followed the tugging on his neck.  His amulet had never done anything like this before... Jittered and danced in all manner of gyrations, yes... but never tugged. But it was doing all right now.

Then there it was... a raised platform bathed in light from outside entering from holes in the roof of the cavern. He heard running water.  It was in its own way a beautiful sight. He supposed some artist could make a living of sorts painting scenes like this.

To one side, there was a curved wall that looked to be a single stone. Perhaps a concrete, but somehow he doubted it. The carving above it suggested a dragon he thought.  When he got back to Whiterun and had the leisure he would talk to Farengar and try to learn more about the dragon war and he dragon cult. It might prove useful to his order.

Richard began to hear an odd chanting in his head... He was mortally certain that it wasn't something he heard with his ears like the sounds of water or the wings of bats flitting about the cavern. It was a low chanting, compelling, insistent.
