    Oh they look great together!
I also really love the two scenic shots, the colors and contrast are particularly to my taste!

Thanks Shelley. I do like that full armor - it also looks good on Kavel who is currently wearing it in my game. Looks very solid and rugged.

The last shot was taking at Shor's village looking down the road. Not sure what that building is at the end actually. It is a bit north of Riften.

Fun set Jonathan! Awesome shots and I think Grim rocks the Ancient Nordic.

Thanks! Aye that is the new combined Nordic. I gave it Kavel to wear in the last story and liked it a lot.

Although I think Grim will stay more barbaric

The idea of these characters having a therapy session during a picnic was pretty amusing,..
That's not something you read every day,... let alone witness.
Great looking images and some very nice posing in these shots,....

And with your interlude you were worried about drifting away from the lore,....

Thanks Janswin! This was just a fun post not an actual story but I enjoyed doing it. For actual stories I tend to be more immersive. Of course the story does relate to actual things and characters but in a lighter way

Thanks! I am not always sure when people know some of the characters in the cross over stuff (or heck my own stuff as over time I have picked up a large crew).

I tend to be more of a light hearted adventure writer anyhow with a bit of humor. I leave the dark writing to the experts. I am more like Paul Kidd, Stephen Brust, David Weber, Michael Sullivan, Fritz Leiber, and that style. I grew up with fantasy (my first fantasy book was David and the Phoenix read to my by my second grade teacher. Fell in love with the genre. Read the Hobbit in third grade followed by a never-ending string of fantasy books from that point forward.

My favorite style is sword and sorcery - especially those with the rogue/mage and warrior team up. The best example of this is Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser:

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fafhrd_and_the_Gray_Mouser

Which is a much older series. Michael Sullivan has Hadrian and Royce which is a current favorite and re-reading his books now.

Anyhow I digress as usual ..

Very nice indeed,.. i've read them all and can imagine you liking that serie's, now that you mention it there are similarities between fafhrd and grim (or may be Erik) .
The serie of Hadrian and Royce i've read also,.. these are great serie's too,.. although i think it was three years ago i read three books of them.

My favorite serie's is a high fantasy and epic fantasy serie "the wheel of life" serie by Robert Jordan. I think black maid is using some characters from that serie in her current story,...

Aye the Wheel of Time is amazing and I have many favorites from that series. BM is using Lan and Moiraine I believe from the books.

I am so pleased you know Hadrian Blackwater and Royce! Michael is not as big of a name as some but I love his stories. If you have read his books then you know my favorite style perfectly. He has serious stuff, and some dark stuff, but also a lot of humor (without being overdone) and I like the bromance style of Hadrian and Royce as best friends (my actual favorite style).

Grim is actually patterned off Hadrian somewhat as Hadrian is my favorite kind of character. In short (and sorry if I wrote this before) Grim is a composite of my own creation mixed in with ideas from:

      Hadrian Blackwater
The Justicar (Paul Kidd and White Plume Mountain - I so adore Cinders)
Bahzell Bahnakson by David Weber in the "War Gods Own" (you can see some of this in how Grim talks to his "gods" Hircine and Fenrir)
      Fafhrd

Of course also a heavy dose of my own stuff but I was strongly influenced by the above. The strange thing is I don't see myself as really those guys although I admire them a great deal. I am more the grey mouser (although probably not Royce, he is a bit too dark) or a sidekick. In Grim's stories I would more likely be Erik.

If I ever finish writing Kavel he will be closer to me. Grim is more my ideal role model.

Anyhow probably TMI but I am a bit enthusiastic about this stuff

This is very lovely, fun set! Grim looks awesome in his new armors, also great and picturesque scenes with nature, such beautiful images! It was intriguing to see Kavel with Frea... looks like he likes her!
And it is great to finally see Grim and Selina appearing in same scheme... I bet they would be interested to talk with each other. Also it is wonderful to see Sandy there too, taking counselor help from Selina, who certainly knows a lot about fears, phobias and issues. The bag of tricks reference made me chuckle, since I remember vividly that amusing set with Grim and Sandy!

Many thanks for the comment Nataly! I was hoping to surprise you with the shot of Selina. I was going through my mods and story ideas and I have had one for her in the back of mind for a while. I have to finish my current story first though.

I made the story very vague so it would be time line friendly. But hey I figure Sheo knows Sandy and Selina so why not provide some free counseling. On a deeper note Sandy really needs some sex education and counseling as otherwise she is going to be hit hard by Tyr. At least this was a start to get her over the bag o tricks thing.

You sure did surprise me! It is very heartwarming to see Selina in your set and I bet her meeting with Grim and his team could make awesome crossover story. I remember you once mentioned that you have such idea in mind and I would be very happy to see such story if you decide to do it!

And Sandy sure needs some counseling and sexual education... I guess Selina could explain to her many things without scaring her or making her uncomfortable. I still shudder to imagine Sandy stuck with Tyr while being so naive in private matters!

I was a little scared when I saw the title " Bag of Tricks" ...and was thinking Oh gawd..here it goes again ...Losti playing pranks on Grim and Sandy again lol. Though on a more serious note ( or not) ....I wonder if you have been reading my note for the next chapter of Flamma Osculatus Innocentia or something..because I did have plans for Selina and Sannedia to meet xD hahahaha.

Lovely little set of randoms ! with a fun little story ! Hehe I suspect Sandy was probably too busy playing with Wolfgar ! Perhaps offered Grim and Erik to go redecorate Molag Bal altar with pink ribbons lol.

Robin hood Grim looks great hehe.

Kavel and Frea in a tree K-i-s-s-i-n-g !!!

Thanks Lia! I wasn't sure what your plans were and it was a bit spontaneous. I kept it very vague time wise so it could happen at most any time, past or future. Just two of my favorite female characters and for some reason felt like playing with them this afternoon. Erik likes Sandy (red-hair and goofy) and Grim tends to go with Selina.

In another time and place I think Frea and Kavel would make such an interesting couple, especially with his background.

It was really cute..though bit unsure how I'm going to include it in the present..perhaps more in the future. Awwww I'm touched that you like little Sandy !!! Hope she didn't cause too much mischief ! I get the feeling that on her end, Sandy would prefer Erik more then Grim...but her all time favorite would probably be Wolfgar ...because he's fluffy.

I think Frea and Kavel would make a really cute couple..quite interesting as well

Well that works for Grim. Ever try to change into werewolf form quickly when covered in heavy platemail? Not so good. A simple loincloth or wrap-around works best. Not to mention provides ease of movement in the woods and very agile. Grim has some advantage anyhow due to his heritage. Cold doesn't bother him and he has very tough skin (but smooth to the touch according to Erik).
