This has to be one of those shots where it's all about being at the right spot at the right time. I mean, I wasn't even near him, saw him off from the road at distance andf then that silver galaxy on the sky as well - just made the picture complete!
Nice catch Rick! This guy usually gets so far away when he appears you never catch him. He once stopped in the graveyard near Dead Man's cairn in my game, but I still have no idea what quest he is for if any.
He is a mystery and I like him! He provides a story for some reason, but it's yet to be found out which, even for me. I had much luck with this, saw him riding fast down the crossroad I was heading for, just when I was shooting for another motif. His blue flashes called on my attention and there he was, ghost horse and man...
It does make sense, since the tale has become very popular among bards and in taverns. I think I'll join in on this version and call the horseman Ragnar from now on...
The sky got my thrilled when I saw it in the game while shooting this. That silvery effect high up above really plays well with the ghastly blue of the horseman...

I couldn't hold on to it any longer! I was saving this for Halloween, but I figured too many of us would have the same idea. Also, not everyone celebrates Halloween - it's a rather new thing in Sweden - so I decided to let him run through the night a bit earlier than expected...

I think he has surprised each and everyone that's been running into him! He stands for the gothic theme in the game...well, along with all the vampires I suppose!
