I certainly don't need to mention how awesome this is, and the no-cape option is a huge boon. That said, I'm very curious as to whether making a version that removes the hood, but keeps the mask, is possible. I think that were such a mod created, it would work extremely well with the no-cape idea.
I *think* (Not sure) you could just get the black sacrament armor, copy the headpiece from it over and replace the nightingale headpiece, then just rename the head texture for this retexture to the name of the black sacrament one and replace it.
Pretty sure they both use the same mesh + UV maps, so it should, in theory, work.
I have done some texture editing using Corel PaintShop Pro, but adding dirt and scuffs on the armor sounds really daunting. I wouldn't even know where to begin

And it's really not hard at all. It's just playing with some filters, adjusting the transparency and copy/pasting it onto the armor :|
Being able to take the cape off is gunna be so baller. I always liked this set, but never wore it because of the cape.
