    Oh, these are exceptional!

At first I fell in love with that main pic; pale naked skeleton branches of the nature, but they're all simply amazing...

    I do love trees!

Lovely colors in that main. Such soft pretty blues and whites. Very gentle and soothing images. For a moment, though, I thought this was a showcase for DynLOD when you mentioned billboards and trees. Probably cause I was playing with it this week.

Very nice set of images Urshi - you really do such nice captures!

Thanks Jonathan. I have downloaded DynLod, but haven't done anything with it yet. I have too many environmental mods and I didn't settle yet what to keep and what is not worth it. How did it go for you?

Hi Urshi - a few people on flickr asked me that, as well as what I ended up using for LOD and Landscapes. My reply was huge but two paragraphs covered DynLOD. Forgive me for a cut and paste but easier for me to just paste that part of my reply below as it will answer the question best! In the end I think it is an awesome tool but extremely time consuming to use and probably best for people who tend to stick with mods that affect LOD and don't change them often. Might be possible to just run the process for changed ones but didn't look into that. Also some aspects can be pretty complicated. However the tutorials are thorough and easy to use (IMO). If I hadn't gotten some tree issues, and wasted over 3 hours, I probably would have kept it. But after so much time invested ... to waste it all was just too much. Too daunting to try and figure out what had happened and go through it all again ... possibly multiple times trying to solve it. All for ... well not a lot of gain. It does a great job and looks wonderful .. but its just LOD and the LOD mods I use do it well enough. Those things don't bug me that much. Plus I use a lot of blur, dof, and fog :p

Personally I think it is for those folks who want ultra realism and like to get their Skyrim looking as real and perfect as possible. I am not one of those people

For LOD ... well that was an adventure. I used DynLOD last night. It is complicated but not as bad as I feared, esepcially since there is already a billboard for SFO 2.3 made. Still reading the documents, downloading and installing all the many mods needed (need 4 just to run plus various billboards, then have to set them all up to install in the right places), watching the tutorial, running the TESEDIT script - man that took a long time, installing the 4106 generated files into NMM/Skyrim ... just over 3 hours to do it all.

So after all that time it did work. No more need for SDO, SkyMills or SkyFalls. DynLOD did it all. Looked very good. But 3 hours ... and that was JUST for Tamriel (did not do DLC areas or any of the other world spaces) ... and considering how often I change mods ... very daunting to use. Also even though I included my Whiterun town mod it failed there - I had 2D trees in a few places in Whiterun - flat and horrible. I also could not target them so could not delete them. They came fromDynLod. After just over 3 hours of time ... no way was I going to redo it all and try to figure out how to fix the error ... nor did I want to remove my Whiterun Mod (the one with the nice pine trees).

Thanks so much for your in-depth reply, Jonathan! It is very helpful.
I tend to change mods all the time, and with that blur I use... I can play without lod at all. LOL!

Thanks BlackMaid! ^^ But really, try that snowflake mod I linked in my previous reply, they look good and they don't use as much resources as it may seem. FPS 30-35.
