This is such a beautiful collection. You certainly picked the best one for the main image. Magnificent view heading towards the Azura statue in the way distance. Excellent! +

Thank you so much for your kind words! Haha yeah thanks, I really liked the wide angle of view there in the main pic ^^ If you look closely you can even see High Hrothgar on the Throat of the World!

It really makes me jealous because I see great shots like this and I am immediately inspired. But to even consider taking a shot of the Azura statue now would in my opinion feel almost plagiaristic. Besides I don't think I could do justice for her the way you have.

Again, thank you so much for your kind words Lillysdad! I'm very happy to hear that my shots inspire you

And of course, you won't be achieving the results of a screenshot as I did, but there's nothing wrong with that! I know your system can't handle all of that eye-candy, but you really make nice shots for vanilla! They're just as beautiful as mine, but in your own way!
It's not a competition you know ^^ You said it yourself, just show yóúr Skyrim experience to the world

Ya no chance for the eye candy. I installed an ENB just today to try it out. It was basically a Skyrim slide show. lol I also thank you for your kindness, most people don't even bother to endorse stuff let alone leave positive feedback. I will be sure to keep an eye out for more great shots from you. Kudos already given

I usually get between 20-30 fps I use around 120 mods though for immersion. Frostfall, Hunterborn, and things like that so. I also use any mod for performance I can find.

Aha okay, also texture mods? And do you also tweak your .ini files?

Ya I use the HD textures and really the only thing I have done with the INI files have been tweaking the shadows. Not so much tweaking more of removing the really bad shadows.

Aha you mean the DLC HD texture pack?

Well, I don't know how familiar you are with ini tweaking, but it could really help you to find the perfect balance between performance and graphics. Tweaking your .ini settings a bit can significantly boost your ingame performance, like for example by keeping your uGrids at 5 (if it isn't already at 5), or lowering reflections , or lowering the LOD for certain objects or particles will increase fps and stability.

yeah since you mentioned that I have been looking into it. I haven't really made much progress yet. But I am going to keep trying to see if I can't get a little more out of it. Thanks for the advice.

The first shot is absolutly marvelous. Great contrast with the dark shaded forground. The sky with it´s fabulous purple/violet colors is very beautiful. The haze in the far distance and the warm colorful sunset instantly catches the viewers eyes to finaly see the Azura statue. Really like the angle of view in the second picture. Lovely set of images you share with us here. Thank you.

These are really great. To me the massive statue of Azura is one of if not the most powerful landmarks in Skyrim.

Thanks man! Yeah, you can literally almost everywhere spot the Shrine of Azura, from the very northern coasts, to the southern valleys of Eastmarch, and even in Riften I think. Very impressive indeed
