    just nice to think that the three will have a quiet safe place to go, I like the idea.

    Sadly the dogs. I have yet to find a mod that really makes them look great. The bear cub... now that is a good idea..... the strength of Kavel matched, in time of course, the cub even has a chance to grow.

      Appreciate the feedback! Aye not a lot of great textures for animals in general. True Wolves is pretty good. Hard to do fur and people just are not as interested. I can deal with the Huskies okay. I wish the eyes were better on the animals - most are just flat.

      We will see how the bear cub idea goes. Still a lot on my plate before I can really delve into Kavel.

      Thanks Arnold. Totally agree - wish I had that treehouse myself. In real life people actually do have houses like this.But way above my skill level to make and well above my pay grade to buy.

    A bear raised from birth would be a different companion for sure. It would be pretty funny if Sam's gift is a drinking contest with Grim, or even a certain alcoholic beverage.....If only I were Sam

    Beautiful spot to honeymoon and to take a bit of a break, and do they deserve it ......... a nice break , hunting , fishing, loving will do them good and this looks like the perfect spot , it seems the Huntsman has out done himself this time........ wonderful shots Jon

    Title shot is stunning and I get what you mean about wanting to leave your characters somewhere safe; that's the main reason I had to come back and write Rathe's next book, I just couldn't leave him sitting all alone on that beach.

    The bear cub is too darned cute but full size, a bear might be a pain in the butt to have as a companion. I'd give my left arm to have bird companions. I would LOVE to have a raven. Sigh. Maybe some talented mod maker out there can do something.... Hint hint

      Many thanks Jess and I was thinking about poor Rathe when I posted this. That was a rather sad way to leave him ... but then you are Jessb after all

      Funny though as you left Fleur, in a way, in a fairly happy place.

      Aye full bear would a nuisance I think - so either I keep him a runt (which might be cute) or he would have to only be with Kavel when outdoors.

      I found this Raven mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58339/? but if you read the comments it has some problems and is low res among other things. But the comments offer some ideas and maybe the author will figure things out. Might also work for a short story line or something.
