Aye I wanted very menacing and dark. Took some time to get him all dressed up the way I wanted. So many mods in effect in the main shot not to mention some custom ENB tweaks to get the right atmosphere.
Your version of Molag Bal is very interesting - very daemonic...When I look up to the first picture and see his sardonic face (wonderful lightening with the red flaires around him and the dusty atmosphere in the room) and then Iook into his face on the last picture with a small kindly smile around the mouth, I can feel his dominant seducer soul...
Expecting the next chapter
I like the textures of the warpaint
Glad you like my personalization of Molag - I had a lot of fun designing him. I wanted him sexy but in a very dangerous and powerful way.
an awsome creation that sends a shiver up my spine
thank you
Bethesda made his human form Imperial. If you read any of the lore tomes and look in the Kit. It would tell you. it also says that his Dremora are suppose to be demonic versions of the Imperial people I would also thank that molags army would be a demonic version of the Imperial army to be honest. Any ways great job on him but if you wonted to make a more human form for him for other reasons I would use the Imperial.
Sorry for the ramble.
I also knew about the merger of worlds but did not know the details on the Imperials and such (although I knew about the Kyn and how the Dremora work - researched that while working on Lord Zzed and Losti). Great stuff and thanks for the added insight and comment Ronald!
I never thought the Daedra to be bad nor good. The reason thank this is becuase they are born the way they are, like domination and enslaving mortals is really the only thing he knows really. then again I don't wont to know how cruel Molags childhood was to turn him into what he is, if he had one.
One of the reasons why I like Elder Scrolls lore is that it just leaves you thinking.
Yes the Imperials, Dunmer, and Altmer have a lot in common with the Daedra. Molag and Dagon would be the Daedras.
Happy this help you John.
ESO changes some of the lore but then most games are not totally consistent in lore anyhow - they changes things to meet their design goals. Anyhow Nataly had linked me a youtube clip. Wiki sums it up better than I can, Meridia and Molag Bal have a "verbal clash" with one another on their judgement of enslavement, especially after the Vestige defeats Molag Bal in the next proceeding cutscene in which he honors the player for his "achievement."
Think it is more the respect of one warrior to another. Or how two enemies can hate each other and try to kill each other but at the same time have some sense of honor or respect towards each other. It is the idea of a worthy foe.
I don't think the Princes had a childhood, they just came into existence as is. But a lot is vague so you can do with it as you wish. I think Farvat tends to see them (and Aedra) as human constructs representing various aspects of the human psyche and condition.
On one level I agree with Farvat - the more real level as I think that is how we have created our own gods in real life. In the game, however, I prefer them as "fantasy" entities that are more super-powerful creatures with their own personalities and goals. In other words I personify them with human attributes.
But I started writing out the details (skeleton was done a while ago) and hope to have done soon. Thanks so much for the comment!
PS - Decided to hide most of them this time on Flickr so no more spoilers :-) I usually don't mind/bother but this chapter has some intense stuff I wish to keep for just Nexus.
