A lot of pausing the action to get the right shot, although like a lot of this early work, I wish I knew what I know now and things would have been a lot faster to make.
Heh, they will get Stan outfitted yet!
Great work!
The combat scenes are my favorite to do. Some of my best shots have been the result of absolute luck when I hit TFC 1 and took the camera somewhere I was not even looking at. Basically just gave both characters 10,000 health and did the same with the enemies and just went to town with images
You did a lot of work and I had the pleasure, to be with you
I think endorsements may come with more time but if I get to converse with people in the comments and I continue to enjoy doing this then that is more important.
I think the mod idea that wolfgrimdark is working on will help everybody that does this so I look forward to that. Just keep having fun, that is why we play the game
The best part of the story was all the wonderful dialogue between the two characters. I loved that line about the "reaching skill" and Ellandra's reply by thumping him in his chest. Really growing to like both of them. The strong as an ox big ole Stan and the smart and clever Ellandra who is mult-talented with weapons and some magic. Nice thing about healing spells - don't need plants and alchemy station to use them :-)
I liked how you play into the characters natural abilities. Ellandra using her animal ability (earlier chapter) and now Stan dealing with cold water and frost better than she (like his comment to her about being in Valenwood as well).
They seem to be making a good team as they get the Dragonstone and escape. Some really good descriptions of the action. I like how it was just the fight but the talking they did as they went through the place. Well thought out. Some great shots, especially the one with Ellandra jumping over her foes.
Glad to see they both made it out in one piece!
I do have the most fun making the dialogue and a bit of a hard time making the 3rd person narration. Ellandra does need to practice that novice healing spell in case she runs out of potions someday. It would have been handy when Alduin attacked her.
I think she was pleased that Stan was back to himself quickly after she gave him a bit of a wake up call at the start. Not sure I would be in good spirits either after being alone in the dark while diseased and bleeding to death.
As soon as the dragonstone is returned then a lot of my future plans will be able to start forming so it is getting more exciting for me now. Again, thanks for the great feedback!
I really appreciate the thought about the dialogue. This is the easiest way for me to actually portray a conversation.
After the dragonstone is returned, I expect that there will be more characters introduced and the story will become less linear than it has been at the start.
thanks again!
