awsome imagery
thank you wolf
Edit: Tried to endorse this twice but it didn't work. I definitely didn't forget that I had already endorsed it.
I really thank Alduin was trying to save the Dragonborn. I mean he had many chances to kill you while you were at Helgan. He could have burned you alive when he saw you on your knees. But he pushes every one away from you with his shout. and through out the whole time you are at helgan he ignores you. What sad is the Dragonborn and Alduin could have been friends if it was not for the elder scrolls and destiny making them enemy's. The battle with Miraak the first Dragonborn was sad too. He was just fighting you for his freedom and was tricked by Mora.
Sorry for Needless rambling hehe.
Grim is my third and he has not yet chosen a side in the war. He went with Hadvar for reasons unrelated to the civil war. That being said Grim, if forced, will side with the Imperials. They probably won't take him as he is constantly killing Thalmor though.
I like the Nords but SOME (really need to stress that word as not all Nords are bigots which to many people assume) are total bigots, especially Ulfric. Consequently I can't support Ulfric at all. Nor do I support his actions against the high king.
The imperial is the best hope for surviving against the Thalmor, even with all the corruption that is rampant in the empire. So Grim will side with them eventually but for now avoids it due to his war against the Thalmor.
In regards to Alduin - I am not sure he knows your character is the Dragonborn - as you have not gotten your powers yet. Or perhaps he wanted a real challenge so leaves you alive.
Alduin is a strange one - in some ways evil but in other ways he is merely a force of destruction and the end of the cycle. You must have an end to ever have a beginning. From his destruction a new cycle is possible. Even the greybeards say this - indicating maybe the Dragonborn should NOT kill Alduin as maybe it is time for this cycle to end.
As for Miraak - I have not done that quest yet but have read some of it in peoples stories and on Wiki. I would say right now I hate the bastard and think he got exactly what he deserved. From the lore I read he is not a nice guy. He didn't seek power to protect the weak and innocent - he sought it solely for selfish reasons and personal gain. He has no qualms about using other people for his own ends. He isn't much better than Mora.
Perhaps I will change my mind when I do the actual quest line with Grim
I love little pup Wolfgar, but the last shot where Hircine is blessing Erik is outstanding.
I like the darkness in this shot with only a few green branches around the humble Erik and Hircine in his glory. Greatly done!
