Lord Naarifin?! He is the filthy, evil b*stard who sacked (or, rather, WILL sack) the Imperial City during the Great War, with his victorious Thalmor forces causing great and horrific atrocities amongst the City's defenceless populace.
When the absent Titus Mede finally retook the City, wreaking great vengeance upon the Thalmor forces, Naarfin's mutilated carcass was strung high up to rot on the White-Gold Tower for all to see.
HE is Ambrosia's "patron" ? Oh, I don't like this ONE little bit!
There are MANY ancient traditions concerning NOT disturbing and moving a person's remains after burial, as it is often considered tantamount to desecrating a grave.
That is probably a bit of what Ambrosia might have instinctively felt, upon seeing her mother's remains brought to her thusly, however apparently well-meaning that gesture might have been.
When does Ambrosia start growing her hair long, and when does it start to show it's characteristic blue streaks?^^
Endorsed.
Warm thanks, Shelley, and cheers, dear!
I love how you're developing this (and providing some fantastic explanations for how she became the warrior she is today).
I've just read chapter two and this one and decided to post a comment here. Ambrosia is mesmerizing character and it is great to know her childhood story of how she grew up to become a woman she is today. when Thalmor captured her, it was dreadful, but it seems that they are planning something... I would never believe in their kindness, so most likely they ant to use Ambrosia for something while trying to make her believe they wish her happiness.
It was sad moment with her mother and it did remind Ambrosia that Thalmor might be up to no good, so she should be vigilant! I will be looking forward for continuation!
So wrong of them to move her Mother without asking her about it. It seems that offense however opened her eyes to the fact that they wanted her for something.
I am loving this Shelley! As Ambrosia is one of my most favorite characters on the Nexus it is wonderful to learn her backstory!
Brilliant work!
And of Course, i'm a big Fan of Ambrosia.
Know your enemy and playing along with their attempts to please her she sees them for what they truly are.
Great shots to continue the story....... your doing an excellent job in filling us in on her background and giving us just enough to tease us with more.
Beautiful and exciting work Love
Really like the shots with the horse!
