    Like mother, like daughter. ^^
Typical, how Mom gets banished from her village by ignorant, stupid hicks with " Dark-Age " MENTALities....
As a result, Ambrosia's childhood was kinda like that of the Brown Family of "Alaskan Bush People" : wild, pure and free.

I loved how she relieved herself of some troublesome Thalmor thugs by "napalming" them alive!
Altmer have a slight weakness to magic, and the young Ambrosia took full advantage of that.
Maybe that's why the Thalmor have such a huge bone to pick with her?
Sore losers ever since her childhood, huh?
Must have been embarrassing as hell for them to have to report to their superiors that the mighty Thalmor got their @sses handed to them (rather crispy) by a 12-year-old KID! LMAO!

Ambrosia needs to be WAY more alert and aware of her surroundings, now that she is all alone in this world, she simply CANNOT afford to stupidly screw up like that again....she got lucky with her potent Destruction magic THIS time....but what about NEXT time, huh? ^^

RL has left me behind in your stories, so I must now try to catch up.

    Endorsed.
Warm thanks, Shelley and cheers, dear!

Wow Shelley, this was very emotional. I always wondered about Brosia's back-story and this was both beautiful and heart-wrenching to read. I loved the idea of her and her mother living wild in the lands of Skyrim, pulling down game to eat an use for hides, never interacting with others and just enjoying their solitude. But I was so saddened when I read about her mother slipping away in her sleep. I lost my own mother a few years ago and this scene really got to me. I know just how Brosia must have felt going to wake her mother up and finding the life gone from her... very sad.

She came into her powers young and it seemed they were dangerous and untamed; I guess the product of not having a guiding hand to help her hone her talents. I wonder who it was that found her as that scared, angry child and trained (and tamed her)...

A beautiful piece dear. Can't wait for part 2.

Thank you Jess so very much , have had wonderful teachers in the story telling , you, Jon, Kami, Aok, Nataly, Bruno and many others on Nexus that have shared their stories helped me to learn the craft. I loved how she was raised also, to think of living a simple untouched life. Allowed to run wild, to let the wind flow though her hair, to hunt when she needed but only what they needed.

She was very lucky to have been raised by her Mother and think part of her pain and anger was at losing her in her sleep , that not being able to say good bye to tell her Momma how she felt. I am sorry that it did get to you Jess the way she found her mother.

She did come in to he4r power early and will learn more about how she was trained in the next few chapters and why and who did the training........ will be a few very familar faces we all have had dealing with only in their younger years and well as you know know Dagri as well.......

I am very happy you found this a beautiful piece

Awesome glimpse in the past of beautiful and fierce Ambrosia, wonderfully written! Great shots too! Little Ambrosia is sure adorable girl and her adoptive mother was very beautiful lady!
I always knew she has most unusual father - Padomay, and I always wondered about her childhood. So she was adopted! And by such lovely, loving and caring woman as her mother and got her beautiful name from her! It was heartwarming to know that Ambrosia was raised in such love and it explains how it affected her and made her a person she is today. Too sad that her adopted died so early, leaving you ambrosia alone!
It was cool to see how Ambrosia dealt with the Thalmor, her powers exceptional in that age, fueled by her fear and anger that Thalmor made her feel. I am looking to see the continuation and thank you for wonderful work!

Thank you so much Nataly, I was always so interested in your stories of Dannee child hood stories and have had Ambrosia in my mind since her beginning decided it was time to tell why she is the way she is with adopting so many children to part of her dislike for some of the Thalmor which will come in later chapters.

She was very lucky as to who her father gave her to in the beginning as her Momma was special and showed her love and how to be free first.Maybe that is part of the reason she has had so much problems settling in one place for long...... it is funny how fear will bring out what we do not know is inside us. I am so happy you enjoyed learning more about her and her child hood

Oh what a beautiful back story! So wonderful to learn of Ambrosia's bittersweet childhood. How luck she was to have such a loving and caring mother. It is obvious where Ambrosia's nature comes from.
I can only imagine how stunned she was when she laid those Thalmor to waste. (Heh, almost as stunned as THEY were!
    Beautiful work dear Shelley!!

very good Love......... I and Stragon will love to hear the rest. To learn the story behind each mark that now lays upon her body, each must have an interesting story behind it.

When I first read the scripted without the images, I was probably a bit like Wolf in confusion. Willing to accept the story but not clear on a point. i.e... Azura's gift hidden till she could not be hidden any longer. I was thinking baby bump, but now I understand.

Momma and child Ambrosia...... great character creations. And I liked the new land idea. Might it have a name?

Stragon was brought into Nirn in a different location, Dreki, I had been trying to figure out a name for where he was born to his form, the name came to me and I don't remember ever hearing it before. But then I decided to look it up to see if there might be such a place. In Iceland and it fit perfect for what I was imagining.

You did a great job coming up with a background for your Ambrosia, the shots..... very nice and fit the story quite well.

patiently waiting for the rest of the story.......

Mother and Daughter doing the best they can

Thank you so much Steven , I know sometimes it is hard to get the whole picture as the rest is still untold but as you know she has many stories in her how she started some will come as surprises some I have given hints to in all her stores. The new land is wonderful and makes a wonderful back drop for her story. I am so happy you enjoyed my tale of how she came to be and support me as I write these stories......... more to come darlin.......

I do hope soon we will hear more of Stragon and his start in the world and this Dreki, I look forward to it in fact

Lovely song Steven, thank you so much

It was very interesting to read this glimpse into Ambrosia's early memories, growing up among the wilds that were her home by her mother's side, learning the skills of the hunt from her, of the tale her mother told of how she ended up in her arms as a small child appearing from the starry skies. Her mother had the same strength she has, raising a child all on her own among the forest, defending her and finding food for her, also explains how much Ambrosia cares for the children she adopted, showing them the same attention her mother did while she was alive. I see it did not take her long to get in trouble with the thalmor, that waking magic leading them to a swift end. Her last words as she looked over the water were very touching, a wonderful tale, I look forward to the next part

Thank you so much Kami, I am so very happy you enjoyed this glimpse into where she started out and what helped to mold her in many ways into the woman she is today. I think in many ways this is why she has adopted so many children trying to pay back what her mother did for her in those early years. Needs others to feel the love of a parent . Lol yes she does have a way of getting herself in trouble even in the early years and the Thalmor have a way of being in the wrong place at that wrong time as always.
