   I tried to play mages after many chars being onehanded/bow, even two handed (which even less fits in with small women chars, but he). Mages are not my first choise but I do lake the idea of a powerfull mage just walking inside a room and dominating the scene within a second. They never got that far. I could not build them strong enough and always got killed to many times on higher leves.
   Its a hard way to play the game and thats good, but my goal is never to get killed and so its frustrating too ( when killed I start the whole game anew).
   So played battlemages instead, using the magic instead of the bow, but found out that I was playing onehanded, shield anyway. Also I do not like the killcam cutscenes that much that belong to the ranged magic (and bows).

      Thank you, for your described Experience! You're right, Destruction-Magic on Vanilla is much too weak. Therefore I use a Combination:
      Empowered Magic- EM - Forgotten Magic Redone - FMR
      Ok, Forgotten Magic is extremely overpowered, but for a Hybrid, I guess, better than nothing.

      Thanks. Perhaps that's the way to go. I now use perkus maximus for another run through and yes onehanded/bow again Perhaps that works better for mages too.
