Kyn looks as gorgeous as ever here, its the blue eye, perhaps. I'm not sure. Great job Alex!
But true, it is unwise to keep Farkas waiting. Until next time my Friend!
Damn, quite the cliffhanger here! Can't wait to see what happens!
Happy New Year my friend!
Well well, Kodlak is slowly getting into the art of cliffhanger-building .. yes thats a term .. I hope
Glad you did like his tale so much that you wanted him to continue
I will try my best to not let you wait too long; even though if you thank you specifically for the cliffhanger I think I have to use even more of those, eh?
Glad you did like both Jonna and Falion aswell .. For what Koen will do. Well, the question is if he will believe Kynthia who he does not remember that she is his Little sister (of which he has no Memory of even having). I assume he will be willing to at least talk.. but I fear his companion won't be as .. tolerant .. we will see
Thank you again!
I enjoyed seeing protective the innkeeper was towards her - very nice of her all things considered. And that slime Falion, nice to see Kynthia realizes the end does not always justify the means and walked out on him. Horrible things souls gems - don't like any of them. No good comes from meddling with souls.
Lots of suspense built up as these two "enemies" walked around so close to each other yet not aware of each other. Think Kynthia had the right idea to confront them. Better to face it then be constantly on the run and next time she might have the opportunity to do it with more control (versus being caught off-guard).
Enjoy the stories and images and curious to see what happens next with this sudden revelation to Koen!
The question that now comes to mind is if Koen will believe her; as it is he has no Memory of even having a Little Sister; much less that she might be in Skyrim and a Vampire and therefore his "enemy" - so it might turn out to be a mistake to confront this particular dawnguard patrol, as I doubt Kynthia would be able to fight against him ..
Well, it is for Kynthia (despite her "Profession" and her Nature) one Thing to end a life; but a completely different to trap a Soul and in this case send it to the Soul Cairn. (even if she only learned of that through the Conversation with Garm - so far she had not been Aware but had no Intention to trap a Soul herself to begin with - all enchants she uses are at most common Soul gems and only bought ones)
Concerning the Innkeeper, I think that she is a rather trusting and careing Person so in my mind she is rather fond of People she likes; and seeing that Kynthia "saved" Morthal despite her being a Vampire herself made Jonna trust her and wanting her to find a cure. Glad you liked that aswell.
Wonderfull new chapter my friend !!
Well, it will be interesting how Koen will react. As it is he has no Memory of even having a sister; much less what she might look like as a grown up (and a bit scared Vampire). But I think Koen would rather take a Chance to talk than to fight if it is possible.
Well, I think there are very few things worse than a Black Soul Gem; and Kynthia is Aware of that. And she was quite sure without even talking to Garm that he would never agree to such a Price for a Cure; no matter what. So she decided that she could not do it herself; as she still believes she has her humanity - and if she fights her bloodlust she might aswell resist the first Chance of a cure as it has too high of a Price.
Thank you again, glad you enjoyed it!
I loved how in the end, Kyn decided to confront the Dawnguard rather than keep on running. It was nice of Jonna to try and protect her, but in the end, confrontation really was the best choice. I'm also glad she didn't consider Falion's offer of curing her via the use of a Black Soul gem. That really is a terrible thing to do to a person... trapping their soul for all eternity in that bleak Soul Cairn.
Keen to read on!!
So it will indeed be interesting how he will react to the Statement of Kynthia that she is his Little sister; a Vampire
Well, Kynthia has less and less Problems with the killing itself; but willingly and intentionally banishing a Soul into a black Soul gem is simply undebateable for a cure for her. So I guess she has to try to find another way; which would only be more difficult with the Dawnguard on her back. So the Chance to confront them in an Environment where they might decide not to fight aka inside an Inn in a bigger Settlement was the right one of her I think.
Very glad you did enjoy the part and thank you very much Jess!
