Sigh ... I wish my distance areas in the game looked more like yours ... I keep fiddling and usually end up making things worse so have vowed to leave things as they are until I do a complete rebuild. Until then can enjoy yours (and others) shots like this.
Actually I don't have much distant mods... and this is at uGrids 7... it's all about the fog & mist and how you set it up with ENB. Also setting RemoveBlur to false in enblocal helps a whole bunch to make stuff look good.
Vanilla weather is basically setup to hide the ugly stuff. You can use that to your advantage all those trees up the mountain are all lod's, without fog/mist/blur it would look like crap.
