This happen when your machine is tired of rendering texture which it isn't capable off from the looks of it you are using amidenborn textures and those hair textures which is a one of the reason coz it has to render those huge loads of textures every npc with retextured armors. hence the purple untextured object is seen
Edit: remove some textures or after every load door you'll see pink objects and the game will crash, you're pc will overheat and fans will eat dust.
Hmmm... thing is, this play through I have fewer texture add-ins than I did last play through when everything worked.
My system is pretty beefy (GTX 780 with 3 GB VRAM, 16 GB system RAM, i5 4670 proc) - when I watched the video card monitor in my last play through it never got much above 2.5 GB VRAM usage, so I would expect there is enough head room. I will check again, though, in case the current mod setup is using more VRAM than I think.
That's what I thought, but the two bows in the picture are the *same bow* (hunting bow) so if it was missing it should be missing for both. I can find the texture the PC's bow is using, and it is both present and readable.
EDIT: ... or not. Turns out I needed to install the Skyforge Hotfix for Amidianborn Book of Silence. So you were right, missing texture. Thx.
