Silver-plated Adyghe/Cossack shashka, now available in the Secret Of The Silver Blades mod.

The shashka is a lightweight and fast weapon, without any hand protection, developed by the Adyghe population in the Caucasus in the 12'th-13'th century. Then it was adopted by the Cossacks, and finally made the official sabre of the Russian army in 1881.

It looks a bit like a katana, but it is a completely unrelated development in a different part of the world.
