Hmm, well the more you practice the better you get, though I don't think my skill level improved that much. I"ve used the same techniques I've used on scarlet dawn, I just spent more time on this, which is why it may seem "better".
Doesn't matter that much, since the limiting factor here is skyrim's outdated engine. I can produce much nicer results if I texture for modern engines.
well i think u've improved a lot from your first armor...or maybe its just cause youre making your own designs rather than making a replica of an ingame lowpoly armor?

Yeah, there's a massive improvement from the first one indeed. It's not because I'm doing my own stuff( which is not really my stuff, it's more like a mashup of different concept art with my own additions and ideeas on top) but because I've had more practice.
I've known most of the concepts since my first armor ( except for sculpting ) but lacked experience and patience. I've rushed my first armor a lot, the thing doesn't even have a specular map on it. The moment I saw it ingame, I released it lol. Mostly had a " f*#@ it, it's good enough!" attitude back then
