Fantastic work Frankie!! "The time for sleep was no more"... you couldn't have ended it any better! Really wonderful way of incorporating Wolfgrimdark's epic piece into your ongoing tale of Hildi and co. Very nicely weaved and great having Valerica at the centre of it all. A very interesting and underutilised character, that one.

Your images are lovely as always; somewhat gritty and compelling. And I adore the Elliot poem in the beginning; glad you could find a way to incorporate it.

Looking forward to what comes next!!

      Thank you! *Blush*

Ye I wanted Valerica to have some more significance, letting her be something more than just a vampire residing inside the Soul Cairn - other than being the -only- daughter of Coldharbour still alive; I had to hint as if she does choose to enter Tamriel even after Serana could have cured herself; there's always a chance-.. Oh I have spoken too much!
      Or have I?

I had always planned bringing this particular one back at some point *Hush hush*, and I found the perfect way (for me) to do it as I considered the Unravelling. I haven't planned it ll out entirely so I'm letting it live itss life on its on!

But I'm sitting on doing the first two episodes right now, which will have the guest appearance *Wink wink*, I hope they'll be finished during the weekend.

"Fools to believe you know so much of this world!" -The Elder Dire-

Wonderful read! I have enjoyed it immensely! However this does make want to finish the next chapter in A Dream Lost in Ice. The next chapter should be about this long but without the awesome pics I have truly enjoyed the Unraveling series!

Really like the start of the interlude with that haunting description of that dark realm of the ideal masters, the whispers of those trapped there rising into the strange sky, that sound of thunder filling one's ears, a realm which Valerica's eyes had too long fallen upon. I like how you depicted her thoughts as she passed her time reading the passages of that book she read many times, pausing on those words so fitting of her current predicament. Missed those little details of your tales, that way she paused on those words, her curling her lip and that faint sigh, they add some great life to Valerica. Interesting how she felt a sudden change, something shifting among days that all seemed just the same. Interesting also how that presence of Garm was glimpsed by that ancient keeper of that frozen sanctum, leaving a message like the whisper from a dream. Seems a certain adventurer is to be awaken again having vanished among those cold waters leaving friends behind, I wonder what task she is to do, A very intriguing tale, Frankie ^^

Oh you have no idea how much I was strubbling with writing this, I would prefer if I were better skilled in writing in a dreamlike mnner without using too many words or repeating the sentences over and over.

Yes Gelebor caught a glimpse of it, however he does not understand what he is seeing or hearing; only his connection to the bow slowly changing as someone is "guarding" it below the waters

An epic read, deserving of the cosmic story line. We have talked, of course, but I only saw glimpses of what you meant to do. This was awesome. The wonderful way you vaguely hint at all types of divine interplay and planning.

The Soul Cairn was very well portrayed and truly it is one of the ultimate hells that any soul could find itself. I think you took the lore Valerica and did a wonderful job of keeping her both in-game yet something more than we all know her as. Much like her daughter she is a force to be reckoned with. I like how you explained her connection to the Elder Scroll and the way she monitored it and then used it to sense the rip, the dragon break, and the infection. Very ingenious way of doing it. Very well done images as well - you always have had a wonderful knack for making some very cool images even with a cold and troublesome computer!

The Vale chapter was also well done, the dreaming of Gelebor was a neat approach to handle his timeless nature and duty to Auriel's Shrine. I like the sense of dreams overlapping reality in the story as he seemed to drift near the surface of consciousness from time to time. It was the most mysterious of the two chapters as I had the least exposure to it. Although I clearly know the role that place plays Auriel's Bow. I suspect this is a hint of what the time wound is about in this particular time line and reality.

How could I not be thrilled at the almighty Garm and his cosmic entrance into Tamriel? Like a falling star he lands on the the ice to awaken some ancient being .. someone who I think is guarding something very important. I like how you slowly worked towards that with the simple wolf trying to get an easy if measly meal from the seagull. Then POW in comes Garm sent by the Caretaker. All very fun and epic and very fitting to the theme.

Wonderfully orchestrated story told three ways and building up a lot of suspense. Looking forward to the rest Ms. :-)

Thanks for the long reply I skimmed through it twice but I'll return to reply better on it when I feel better.

"The Vale chapter was also well done.. It was the most mysterious of the two chapters as I had the least exposure to it. Although I clearly know the role that place plays Auriel's Bow. I suspect this is a hint of what the time wound is about in this particular time line and reality." etc.

I found that one a bit hard to knit together, it will definitely play out a role while another artifact will also be of great importance; a lot more in fact.

      Thanks

It's taken me several weeks to piece it together, lost all my notes since I wrote on this serie a year ago = and now my computer behaving as if retarted.

      I'm looking forward too!
