Star Trek Preserver Script and Skyrim Dragon Script

I was watching Star Trek: The Original Series this morning as I always love Star Trek (Apart from JJ Abrams lens flare fest he calls a film franchise) and noticed on this episode the Obelisk the away team first examples left by the 'Preservers' had strikingly similar symbols to the Ancient Dragon Text in Skyrim, I researched it and can't find any official recognition of the influence in Skyrims design but I believe Star Trek mentioned their influence was from the Akkadian script, an Ancient Semitic script, but the Dragon Language is incredibly similar to the script on the Obelisk, they may even share some identical symbols as there was a lot of different symbols on the fiberglass obelisk in the show and underneath it too.
