I guess you may if you don't go below zero, which makes me extremely lucky. I am a vampire right now, so I don't regenerate, making it mroeeasy to spot this. From here I walked to Dragon Bridge and then fast traveled to Whiterun. Then I bought some stuff from Adrianne and went to Belethor's, where I regenerated health again.

Wonder how much people knew this. I didn't until I found myself having zero HP and still running around the wilderness :P.
