Cassius' thoughts where interrupted as he heard someone call out, it was Talen the Elf.
"Maric! The bloody Lizard's bolted! Hidden his tail while on guard! Damn that rat!"

Another voice was heard shortly after, Maric this time.
"I knew he was a damn milk drinker. Damn cowardly mage."

A third voice, this time an unfamiliar one.
"In the name of the Jarl, Stop right there!"

Maric yelled in retort
"Over my dead body Imperial dog... ARGH!"

There was the sound of a blade slicing through hide armor and flesh, a dull thud followed.
Cassius' stomach sank as all feeling and remorse left him, replaced only by fury and hatred.
