“We’ve stopped at Old Hroldan Inn. I would have continued without stopping, but J’renn insists that I need to rest for a while, especially after meeting a few wolf packs on the road. And, I’ll admit it, I’m a bit bloodied and need some healing.

“We agreed on a compromise: we’ll have a bite and a drink, then leave, and camp farther up the road at sunset.

“Well, the food’s not bad, the innkeeper and her son are friendly enough (even though she sounds a bit disappointed that we won’t stay the night), and the conversation’s far from dull (J’renn has more than a few interesting anecdotes to share, for sure). I guess there could be worse places to be.”
