After a loooooong break, work is finally restarted on the retextures for Imperial heavy armour. There's more weathering effects, and some glossiness, and Gauntlets and Boots are now done. I will be doing Helmets and Swords next.

I'm going in a different direction now with the female armour, as you can see. I'm using "Practical Female Armours" by JZBai, because personally I feel like the female armour should be more similar to the male one (because it's a uniform, after all), and I really like the way it looks.

So, this makes two benefits: The armour is more uniform (which I think is more realistic) and also I don't have to worry so much about battling with the vanilla female armour (which has a very confusing and distorted UV mapping) which means less work. Of course, if I release it, I will make sure to ask permission to use this great mesh from JZBai.

As always, I'm very eager to hear opinions!

Unfortunately, work has been suspended on this project indefinitely. Sadly there are no longer plans to release these textures for the foreseeable future.
