    Very nice chapter! I understand the end for solitude and it seems in character that Kodak would understand too; he seems a forgiving soft of mentor. That little snippet about Vilkas correcting Nadja's posture during training was delicious... so much imagery in that paragraph!

    Loved the beautiful white stallion... I wonder about it's symbolism for Nadja... Purity perhaps? Strength? Innocence?

    And then go go pug on a nice joke; bareback riding. Nice.

      Thank you ! i'm glad you enjoyed this chapter. I have to agree with you about Kodlak...on top he does appear as the wise sort as well. I found the idea with Vilkas too delicious to pass on...plus i have further plans for that mwahahhahaha :evil:

      I love horses...but there is indeed some symbolism in the actual choice of a white stallion. The Horse being for the Strength, well inner strenght more then raw physical one. 'A driving force, what you thrive for or carries you in life'. The white for innocence. And it walking away : the lost of innocence.(I can be wierd..XD )

    A great story about Nadja and her time with the companions - is this a flashback to her time with them? I really liked how you wrote about needing time away, her interactions with the individual companions (making them seem more real and solid) plus the episode with the horse was very well done. Liked the images a great deal and they did a nice job of complimenting your story Lia!

      Everything from the conversation she had with Kodlak to the job with the bandits is flash backs of her time with the companion. The current time plotline is her and Farkas going to retrieve the shard of Ysgramor axe.

      Nadja gonna be spending quite some time with the companions...so might as well start making them look like they are part of the cast, even if only secondary characters. Torvar just being comic relief in this chapter .

      For the episode with the horse, well Nadja have a particular attunement with nature...so having wild animals approach her, even if just out of curiosity, seemed very probable. And yeah I love horses! ...but i got some stuff in store with adorable little wolf ! :3 Can't wait to get to that part ! hehe

    Great new chapter, my dear. That Torvar! He deserved every drop! He is lucky to get away so easily. Tho, I daresay Nadja is such a bad ass she could ride a horse naked if she wanted to and woe to those who object! Haha, I certainly would not ; ) Gorgeous stallion; hope to see more of!

      He wishes she rode that horse naked ! ah ! But yeah, he got away with it rather easily..but then again, Nadja is not Sigyn . ( Torvar would of been soooo dead had it beed Sigyn XD ). True that Nadj prob could of rode that horse naked had she wanted to....not that i think anyone would object to start with if she did

      Not sure the Wild horse will make an other apperance though :o.

    Certainly seems her foresight is being a curse to her, those visions haunting her dreams, those rumours making her fearful of a nightmare turned reality, those thoughts do show in her eyes, that worry. It is good that she found some comfort in sharing her troubles with Kodlak, speaking to one wise as him is a good idea for her. I like that wild spirit of hers that leads her to prefer wandering about and it seems she found a kindred spirit in that wild horse, I like how you described the peace she felt. Torvar was unwise to make that rumour as Njada is not one to be mocked, seems her learned that well. It is worrying that she has that hatred, as those flames could consume her, hope she finds her way out of that troubled state. A wonderfully done chapter, Liadys

      It's good that she found someone she can actually seek out to talk to about all that inner turmoil she has. Her gift/curse of forsight is an heavy burden to bear alone. Nadja is a wild spirit, closer to nature then mankind, finding herself in the middle of such a familiar element brings her some kind of peace. I fancied the idea of having a wild horse getting close to her to demonstrate that affinity she has with animals and nature. Torvar was indeed unwise to speak in such a manner about her and he learned that fast.

      Lets hope she figures something out before that hatred consume her

      Glad and relieved you liked this new chapter ... I really wanted to do a scene like that, the one with the wild horse . Torvar is a drunk...and well..they'll say anything really ...wasted some precious ale in the process though XD that should teach him !!!
