About this image

Joruun Steel-Swing, General in the Stormcloak Army, with Ralof of Riverwood, his Captain, as his brothers and sisters prepare to march to Windhelm.

"Are you sure you have enough supplies, Ralof?" asked Joruun worriedly.
"Enough? Joruun, you gave us extra!" Ralof replied with a laugh, "But on second thoughts, might aswell have some more mead and ale!"
"Hah, you and your danmed mead!" laughed Joruun, "Well, I'm sure Ulfric will buy you some!"
"I highly doubt that! Galmar would have our heads!" replied Ralof, "Ulfric's guards being drunk, hah!"
"I'm proud of you brother, you've come a long way, eh?" exclaimed Joruun, with a hearty smile.
"Not as far as you have, eh General Joruun?" laughed Ralof.
Both men smiled and laughed. Then watched as the other men prepared to leave the fort.

"Are the men set to go?" asked Joruun.
"Yes, I think we be heading out to Windhelm straight away." replied Ralof, "Galmar reported that Ulfric is planning to visit Riften, and ordered us to guard him on the way there."
"Going to discuss some business with the Jarl, no doubt." replied Joruun, "But maybe just to raise some morale. But after the Emperor's assassination, I doubt morale could get any higher!"
"It's just a matter of time before we'll drive the Imperials out!" laughed Ralof.

"Are you ready then, brother?" asked Joruun, "Ulfric will be counting on you!"
"Ofcourse! Ulfric's Personal Guard" said Ralof with a smile, "I still can't believe he chose me!"
"Well I can!" laughed Joruun, "You saved my life more than I can remember!"
"And this time, I'll be saving Ulfric's life, eh?" smiled Ralof.
"Hah, yes indeed, brother!" laughed Joruun, "Though I doubt you'd not get drunk in the first week!"
"Oh and I plan to! Hahaha!" replied Ralof while laughing.

"Well your men are all set, Captain!" stated Joruun while putting an arm on Ralof's shoulder, "Try not to get Ulfric or yourself killed, eh?"
"Wouldn't dream of it, General!" replied Ralof with a smile, as he walked to his men.

"Talos preserve you, brother." smiled Joruun.
"and the Eight to you, brother!" laughed Ralof, with a smile.

Joruun stood and watched Ralof and his men march off to Windhelm with a smile. But deep inside him, his gut has told him something was wrong. He felt that something of great importance, or a great tragedy was about happen. He didn't want to make his brothers and sisters worried, so he gave them a warm smile and waved them off as they marched.
