NOTE: On formatting - yes there are mistakes (bits italic that wouldn't be, words missing etc). This is due to the new editing process which I hate, hate, hate. So apologies for this!
On Garm - Garm is a HUSKY not a Wolf *slaps self* !! Just read HUSKY wherever it says WOLF ok?
    On future stories - nope.

You did such a great job on this Jess, wonderful!! I agree I hate the new editor but thank god you can click on BBCODE then paste in the story! Editing after that though sucks heh. I understand writing stories here is such a huge time and effort sink - sometime i'll need a break too! Hopefully you return for ES6 or FO4

Thanks Green! I think I've gotten my head around the editor now... So that takes away another excuse for jog keeping up the writing doesn't it

Maybe I will be around longer than I thought!!

I am always astonished at the talent of the many artists here on Nexus and what can be created from this amazing game Skyrim. So many wonderful images and stories posted here, I could spend days viewing and reading if only time permitted. You, Jess, have an exceptional gift for both and I count you among my favorites. You honestly should consider professional writing.
I think these last images of your lovely little Fleur are the perfect way to say goodbye to her.

Thanks Bowsong! I really, really appreciate your kind words! I would sincerely love a professional writing career and maybe one day it'll happen (though I really should complete a novel for that to happen huh)!

Thanks and yes, consider this set Fleur's swan song as much as my humble addition to Jon's epic saga!

Oh my! Brilliant work hon! The visuals and writing are amazing. As Kayol pointed out your and Wolf's writing compliment each other well. Heh, won't be the case with my part safe to say my writing will be more of a comic interlude by comparison
I loved the interaction between Garm and Fleur, absolutely magical.
Thank you for coming back as you did this part magnificently. A deeply moving set.
You and Wolf set the bar awfully high!!!
    Yeah...HATE the new editor!!!
    Loved this my dear friend!

Thanks sweetie!! I don't know about me and Jon having compatible styles of writing (I consider myself a hack next to his stuff) but I CAN say that I'm so damn looking forward to reading about how DD and Dire tackle the Adversary's emissary to help free the Caretaker! That's going to be a freaking epic battle!!

And yes... the editor has killed any hopes I might've had about coming back. Even though a lot of people have been very kind and suggested ways around it; we shouldn't HAVE to find ways around it.

      Rant over.

      Thanks hon!!!

Heh heh, thanks hon, I hope my part will be worthy.

As for the editor, the small pics. I understand the rant as I don't think anyone ranted as hard as I
But in the end kind words from friends, and the NEED to be creative brought me back. You have exhausted yourself with your magnificent story work. But I expect....I HOPE, you will be back. In a few weeks don't be surprised if that creative "bug" starts to awaken in you.
      We will be here waiting

Thanks Shelley! I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter! It was great fun to write and though it got me out of retirement I think it was a one-time only deal. The editor plus the usual Nexus frustrations make it not too enticing to come back properly, as I'm sure you're aware!! Anyway thanks for taking the time to read and comment my sweet!

This was amazing, such beautiful and wonderfully written story with great shots, stunning and filled with atmosphere of tranquility! Such an amazing chapter to add to Unraveling!

I can say that for me it was a pleasure to see Fleur... seems like the role of envoy of Lady Kynareth suits her perfectly. I've never seen her so wise and serene in her life... I guess for this once poor ruined soul the peace was possible only in death. Garm was adorable, he is such a loyal soul, as only dogs and wolves can be from animal world... even though he only looks like white wolf|husky.

It was intriguing to know about three Fate Weavers that could hep him, dual natured Teyla, Death Dealer who is like hurricane and finally the sinner - Sam himself. I guess recent story did not anything to his good name... was also very lovely to see mention of Dannee and her look, thank you very much!

I know you are very busy and frustrated with Nexus... and I deeply appreciate that you chose to write comments to stories of others and share this awesome work!

On a side note, the new editor can be fixed easily. I also struggled with this new text editor. However I've found a way to make my texts look like before. First I copy my file from program Word to BRED, then copy it there and post it in text editor here. Then at text editor I press bb-code editor in the top right corner and my text begin to look the same way it did before this text editor appeared. As for pics, Aok has discovered a way to make them appear bigger - Hold your "Ctrl" key and click your "+" key about two times to zoom in and see the pics as they should be seen "Ctrl" "0" will return you to normal.

Thanks Nat dear!! I was so happy when Jon asked me to write this as I knew it would be my final(?) chance to give everyone a glimpse of Fleur and it got to show her (mostly) happy and at peace. And as I said to Kayol, it's interesting that she's found such peace AWAY from Rathe. They really were not meant to be together... and yet...

I digress. Thanks dear for reading my little chapter in Jon's amazing piece of work and I CANNOT wait to read how Sam tackles the Adversary's guardians. That's going to be good. On a side note; Sam!!! What the Hell man? Someone give that Daedra a slap to the head please and tell him to crawl back to Dannee and apologise for being such a boob! Gah!!!

Sorry hon, but boy he infuriates me!!

Thanks for the hints on the editor. IF I ever come back properly i'll be sure to take my time and learn the hints and peculiarities of posting using this thing.

This is an amazing chapter to add to the Unravelling Such a poetic writing ! It was so enjoyable to read ! Lot of very sophisticated words :p that i sadly didn't all understood due to my limited knowledge of the english language :/ ( I'll look them up in the dictionary ! )

    Amazing work!!!!

It's good to see that Garm is getting help

Hmm, good to see Fleur again! I was pleasantly surprised to see her involved with this, but then it makes sense that she could be an envoy of Kynareth.

I can see why she'd still care about those on the mortal planes, too, especially Rathe. May he join her up there in peace someday.

    Nicely done!

As for the new editor: yeah, it's a somewhat buggy work-in-progress. I still do my story editing in plain text (mostly offline in Notepad++ these days, since it has spellcheck), typing all the BBCode myself and saving the text in .txt files on my computer. I use the other editor view only for previewing. I always do Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C (select all, copy) before posting or switching editor views, in case something gets lost or mangled.

Thanks Aaron! I was glad I was able to have the opportunity to show Fleur happy, and Jon's epic piece gave me the vehicle needed to do so (thanks Jon! ).

The editor... sigh. If I was going to do any more writing I think i'd have to use something like notepad as it kills the formatting that comes with Word imports. But to be honest, I feel like it's the final nail in the coffin for me. As it was I was over writing for the Nexus and this... well, bad timing and the straw that broke the proverbial. But anyway, thanks for reading and commenting hon!! And keep up your tale too (says the pot to the kettle! ).

It is very interesting that it is Fleur that answered Garm's call, appearing as a messenger of the divine of the winds, with crown of berries, flowing dress and radiant smile, she does look quite angelic and kind, it is clear why Kynareth chose her. I really like how she talked in riddles poetic, Garm trying to decipher her words, slightly impatient in his worry for the caretaker but quickly soothed by her guidance and her hand brushing through his pale fur. Those riddles are very much how I would see the guidance of a divine being like, their presence and influence kept subtle, giving one enough for hope but not meddling as the daedric princes do. Looks a strong group is needed to free Garm's master, made up of those of different natures, will be quite the thing when they face the adversary's sentinels. The part when Garm asked why Fleur cared so much about those fates was beautiful, that fear for her beloved Rathe but also for those affected, such a big heart she has. A beautifully written part of the tale, my friend, wonderful to see you and Jonathan collaborating in the telling of it ^^

Thanks hon! I was instantly attracted to the idea of having Fleur appear in Jon's tale. When he approached and asked I was so happy because it gave me the chance to show that Fleur is finally somewhere safe, and lo and behold, happy. It only had to take her death to make it happen.

Thanks for taking the time to read this part of Jon's epic series and I enjoyed his recap of the exploits of the Laughing Fox... isn't it beautiful to see our favourite character collide (even if a lethal universe destroying virus is behind it!! )
