    So I just went through the whole Fawn series to date and let me say...Shame on me! I thought I was up to date on following the best images here on Nexus and here I missed an entire tale that is just AWESOME! Great job Derek! It goes to show you cant just click through 20 pages of images and expect not to miss something...Look a little closer people or you will miss some epic sh#$!

    No need to apologize for the text it was great to have the background on Fawn, and loved how she was kind of looking back on it herself with us. She seems to have a great sense of humor too!

    Hmm, a good beginning! A decent amount of text, yes, but the text itself is anything but heavy.

    I like how she kept a fair amount of her mother's kindness despite everything. Though I do wonder what she'll do if she ever finds her brother.

    Nicely done, both text and screenshots!

    I love Fawn! She's got the same spunk as Caprice but it's nice to see you write about a hero character!

    I agree with the others, very cute and capable half-elf Dragonborn character! I like the armor mash-up you did with the Northgirl outfit and Blacktalon scarf, as well. Your writing is fluid and to the point, which is good for an adventure story, I feel.

    Will be looking forward to your next chapter...

    Hmm, " text heavy" ? I´m of the same opinion as Jon. The text is light, and wonderfully written, cause i could read it without using my friend google!
    Great beginning of the story Derek, and amazing images. Fawn is gorgeous and her new armour suits her perfect!

    Hey, a first chapter! So I'm not late for the party - for the first time!
    It was a joy to read! Fawn seems to be fun to hang out with: feisty, full of energy, and judging from her very first encounter with a dragon, a pure badass. Can't wait to see how she will develop her powers. It will be like watching a baby taking first steps. A Dragonborn baby. Now this will be fun...
    Also, her background is really interesting, I wonder if she would soon find some Thalmor to play with...
