    That is one really well crafted piece of ballad!
    Not many people write them these days, for they are really tricky. It's not easy to write a piece that is both poetic and has a coherent story in it. You've managed to create a fantastic work and I tip my hat to you The story, although sad, is also really beautiful, I adore the Fire/Stars/Moon metaphors. Chapeau bas!
    And the images are just stunning, I'm smitten by them.

      Sure can be a little tricky, especially if you constantly need a dictionary , but I felt much more confident with the ballads than with normal prose.
      Oh, finally someone pointed on the metaphors, yay There will be more of them...

    I could have sworn I already left a comment for this fine piece of artistry, but alas, I must be getting old, because I forgot...

    Anyway, great images, great writing (especially the poetic style), and very appropriate music to polish off your latest masterpiece. And yes, it was profoundly heart-wrenching to see her loved one die the way he did.

    Awesome work, on both images and story with very beautiful and atmospheric shots! What a tragic and sad story... just when Lily has thought she fond the love of her life, her love was taken from her... These beautiful poetic words perfectly illustrates her life with her love and then her devastating loss... That was very powerful and heart wrenching installment!

    It is sad to see Laelia losing her beloved hunter to that executioner's axe, that sun to her moon taken that day before dragon's fire swept the city, the pain and memory of that moment is sure to remain with her to change her. But I think she has the will and strength to find some of herself again when some of the sorrow fades with the help of one who taught her how to fight, a shield-brother watching out for her. A poignant part of your poetic tale of Laelia, Patrick, the shots really convey that emotion of the words.

      Truly a sad fate, her life being ruined once again. Like you noticed, she has at least one remaining anchor this time, even if I'm not sure if she will acknowledge that, he'll surely watch over her and see if time is able to patch the scars upon her heart and soul. Glad you found this a poignant part and the pictures to convey the emotions, many thanks Alexi

    Ah this was so incredibly sad, surprised that wasn't noted more. She just saw her "everything" her love and life beheaded. From a playful romp to this. The pictures are awesome but the way you wrote the poetic words and how devoted they are to each other ... to that lost image of her on the ground, her soul torn apart at the loss of her other half. A very sad tale Patrick.

      I'm glad you noted Very pleasing to know that my clumsy poetic was able to do it's part in showing the nature of their relationship and the cruelty of these moments losing her "everything", just from complete hapiness to infinte pain in a few hours.
