About this image

This is the unskinned version in 3DS Max. Comment if you want me to go through the rest of the process in making this an armor.

I personally feel that the people who play as warmages need armor as well as a mage type feel still to it

If I release this mod this will be only for the Males in the first version as theirs a lot more work into females because of body mods

Progress on this mod is gonna be a bit slow because im currently working on another mod for a game called Space Engineers (Which is really fun by the way) and it is alot more work to mod that game than this game.

Was messing around in photoshop with the textures and this turned out pretty cool looking for the destruction Warmage Outfit

    What do you guys think?

I use 3DS Max (2012) and you just import all the parts of the character body you want to use. (for example CBBE Body, head, feet, and hands. and import the skeleton with them.) all you do after that is import the armor and delete parts you dont want then import another to cover up those deleted parts (if you want to not have a naked body) then you have to reskin the meshes and use nifskope to make the nif (Correctly anyways) and then import it into the game as usual.

I know its a lot to read but I can make a video on how I do it (it may be better than trying to explain in text form).

Just wanted to know what the community would think about this type of mod for every light armor in the game with the different Mage robes.

The first version which will be a .25 alpha will have only nightingale with journeyman robes. (Male Only for now)

I may test out how well I can do retextures in a program called 3D Coat (with my drawing tablet) which has texture painting on UV's or vertex texture paint. It allso has a great array of retopology tools in it as well as yes sculpting.

I've always thought that too many warmage armours used the novice/apprentice/adept skirt and not enough modders use the expert or master robes.

I may eventually add more variaty with the different robes it's just with certain armors like this one look cool with the novice/journeyman robes. As the mod gets more popular I'll add more robe types to the armor.

What I want to do is make most if not all light armors adjusted for warmages
      Heavy armor only by request

The robe color must change IMO.

I am planning on changing the robe color its just that in 3DS max I have the default textures on to differentiate between the meshes otherwise they all look the same color.

Im thinking of 3 different robe colors a blackish color, blueish color and maybe a purple color.

I may do one for each school of magic eventually but the first release is only gonna have 3 colors

The priority right now is getting the armor skinned and properly working in game.

Im not very good at retexturing. just warning you now.

If recolored to black or a dark color, maybe with an ornated golden border, yes. Maybe purple (bc Illusion magic, which fits with stealth?)
