I agree with Wolf's comments below as you have established your characters personalities and we can now relate to how they will respond.

I wasn't dissapointed. Once again you set a great pace. The awesome first kiss between Shelle and Ajax (if I recall right) was perfect. So sweet and tender. Ajax, a typical but sweet guy with his comment upon waking up was right on target for his personality as you are displaying it. A consistent character in story is always much easier to connect to as you get a feel for their personality and how they might act.
The whole spider queen (nice twist with them all being machines) was great. Shelle was so brave with her plan and breaking the crystal not knowing what might happen. I worry you may kill her off but I can only hope and wait for the next story to see what happens.
The shots are great - Ajax is stunning as always and I see he got another chance to see some sweet Shelle derriere as she scooted down the ventilation shaft :-)
The spider queen deal was actually real fun to create.. I had no idea how neat all the dwemer parts could fit together until I started playing with them heh
And Ajax may be injured but why miss an opportunity!
