I really don't see the purpose of having an enb. You can make the game look awesome without it!

Thanks for your response, I have the weather patch installed and ran the game settings on ultra, and all of that for sure, and it does help some, to smooth things out for sure, but in the end I just couldn't keep looking at it, so I had to move to an ENB. lol

I was just going to look at that Dynavison mod about the same time I stumbled into figuring out how to use an ENB, which I am sure I don't use to the fullest based on some of the screens I have seen here.. lol

I would have most likely went the route that you did had I not figured that out.

Your game Looks Good for sure though, and I am glad to see that somebody is making that route work for sure, because it gives people direct evidence that maybe they can make that setup work as well if that can not go the ENB route.

    Again, Thanks for your response.

That's fine, My rig isn't massively powerful so I've always found it impossible to maintain 60, even 40 fps with an enb installed so I've pretty much had to work around it. haha, I'm quite pleased with the results.

I have seen a couple people lately talking about no ENB and posting screens that Do Look Good.

And I agree your screen shows that, but what have you done to eliminate Shadow Striping, on the terrain and the character?

Which if I understand is caused by the game not being able to process light casting shadows from various directions on the same texture.

I have seen a mod that Looks like it works well with that happening on the player character, but I never had to use that one since I never had that issue, so I can't say how well that works.

But the shadow stripping on the terrain, I was Never able to find a mod that took care of that, the blotchy shadows and movement of them can be taken care of with .ini settings to a satisfactory degree, I was able to do that, but not the terrain shadow striping.

That Drove me crazy seeing that every time I played so much that I stopped playing the game, until I figured out how to use an ENB, and the combination I picked is not even designed to work together, Climates of Tamriel and Tundra ENB, which I have been able to make in such a way that I enjoy playing that combination.

So your game Does Look Good, and when I was playing without an ENB there were Many Beautiful places I could look at, but Always just by looking one direction or another away from that beauty there was shadow stripping, and that I could not abide.

So my question I guess is what have you done in your game to reduce and or preferably eliminate that Very depressing issue?

I haven't really done anything, The shadow striping and glitching happens for me with medium and low shadow settings but on both high and ultra they don't stripe or glitch in any way, I'm not sure if it's dependant on mod setup or hardware but as long as I keep my shadows cranked up to ultra I get no issues.

I use climates of tamriel and the CoT weather patch (I would wholeheartedly recommend the weather patch) for outdoor lighting and ELFX for interior lighting, that's all, and a variety of texture packs, as well as dynavision for the static DoF. I can only assume that I have gotten lucky and avoided it, I haven't even tweaked the SkyrimPrefs.ini, it just doesn't happen in my game.

Sorry for the lack of helpful information and I know the problem you are talking about but literally all I have to do is keep my shadow settings on ultra.
