Wow! Magnificent imagery of this ancient city. Another fantastic chapter.
I especially liked Frankhof's reunion with Garm.

You outdid yourself with the images - the one of Azok near the top is my favorite as the entire troop arrives at Windhelm - an excellent shot. Also enjoyed all the wonderful images of the city - they were beautifully taken. Of course I also was very touched by the cute images of Garm and Frankhof being reunited.

The story was also sweet with the reunion of old friends and the joining of the Stormcloaks ... no turning back now. The commitment has been made. I guess we can only hope that Sunniva does not betray everyone for a chance at some skooma. I suspect she cares only for herself. She is just to distant and uninvolved with anyone.

Nice portrayal of Ulfric and Galmar. I like both of them and only wish Ulfric was not so closed minded. I also know he was a prisoner of the Thalmor - but it was never clear if he sought them out at one time for support or it was, as the notes from the Embassy imply, that they broke him first with torture. Regardless he has not had an easy life and yet does much for the kingdom.

Thank you very much for your comment, always appreciate!
I put a lot of pictures on this part of the story, I wanted to separate it into two parts but I finally prefer to make a unique part, this is the same case for the next part.

Glad you enjoyed the warm reunion of those friends and the pictures. Indeed Frankhof can not turning back now, he's a Stormcloak until the death or the realese of Skyrim.
You're right about Sunniva she think only her and as I told Kami, her rudeness is not the fact that she is not sociable, but because she despises everyone who have no use for her, at least that's how she seems to work, maybe one day will come when we can say that Erik had reason to hope for her, but the time of this day is still far ...

I'm happy that you like the portrayal of Galmar and Ulfric, of course I remained faithful to Bethesda written about them, I have nothing to add from my own opinion. For the following chapters on Ulfric and Galmar, I'll try to make them act according to the way I see them.
I agree when you say that Ulfric is closed minded, but I just viewed some discussion on the Stormcloaks and the Empire on many forums, but also on the different races of the game and in the end I can see that Bethesda really give good and bad sides to all the people of Tamriel. They are not really "bad" and "nice" because all the people were subjected to atrocities to other people, it represents well the real world I think cruelty is not confined to a single people, but to all people unfortunately.
For the history of Ulfric is a Thalmor agent, I must say that the first time I read this document I was disappointed, as for the "incident" of Markarth. But I saw that Ulfric now is not the Thalmor side, at the peace meeting time to defeat Alduin he refuses to stay if Elenwen attending the meeting, and it is only in the Stormcloak camps that we can kill with impunity the Thalmors and when the Civil War ended and the Stormcloaks are winners, the last words of Ulfric proves once again that he is the enemy of the Thalmor.

Anyway, there are many things that displease me to Ulfric, but I think his cause is right for many reasons I will stop to mention because I already see my comment and a true romance!
I would add that many say Ulfric think only of him and at become High King, it is possible, but when he said to Galmar that he would leave this world willingly the day where simple words will suffice and that there will be no more need of soldiers for war, I think he also care about the people of Skyrim and I think a war for freedom and kept his country is a more legitimate war than a war for disgusting financial interests. I think a Skyrim with a leader of men as Ulfric, might be make more strong Skyrim and an alliance with Hammerfell could calm these pretentious Thalmor
It is only my opinion and it is only a video game, but I like that Bethesda knew to do with this war
And of course I do not hate the empire, but I think this is finished for it, the only one I hate in this game this is Thalmor and not the high elves, I do not mix up apples and pears!

Thank you for the additional insight and information on Sunniva view things, that is helpful. I also greatly value your comments and insights on the civil war as it is something I am struggling with right now for Grim, so enjoy seeing the different viewpoints on the Empire, Ulfric, even the Thalmor

Wonderful continuation of Frankhof tale, very heartwarming, given his wonderful reunion with his Stormcloaks friends and Garm who looks adorable! You really outdid yourself with images, they are superb, from beautiful scenery shots, depicting Windhelm in all its ancient glory to expressive portraits of heroes with great expression and awesome posing!

So Frankhof finally made a decision which given his history with Thalmor, his friends, his beliefs is not surprising, hope he will never regret his choice to join Stormcloaks. One thing is known for sure, if Ulfric wins, Thalmor will be driven out of Skyrim, which will gain victory to Stormcloaks but how this victory will turn out in grand scheme of things would remain to be seen...

I am very happy for Frankhof, he looked very joyful to be reunited with his friends and he probably once again regretted his past addiction and speaking of addictions... Sunniva continues to be as shady as ever, hope she won't betray Frankhof or anyone else, but I think her eagerness to follow him might also be explained in desire to gain excess to big city. After all in forest Sunniva was left without any means to obtain Skooma but in big city I am afraid she might revert to her old ways and try to manipulate Frankhof once again... I am looking forward for continuation!

Many thanks dear Nataly for your usual nice comment and pleasant words!

Indeed, it is certain that if the Stormcloaks win, the Thalmors will be driven out of Skyrim and their dictatorship will end. When the empire, it is unfortunately weakened even more, I think it will necessary for Ulfric plans to make alliances with other people of Tamriel who are against the Thalmor, so together, they will be strong enough to cope with the response of the Thalmor.

Glad you be happy for Frankhof, it was a great moment of happiness for him to find his true friends after all these dark days that he lived.
For Sunniva is very accurate what you said, in the Rift forest she had no way to get the skooma and she had no choice that to do without. But now, here in a big city where the misery is present, the skooma should be easy to find...
Frankhof will need have often absent now, so we'll hope for her that she keep her promise and someone always keeps an eye on her.

    Great work Franck!
The images of Windhelm are outstanding!
I´m not a friend of the civil war, and my chars will never join it, but it`s Frankhof`s way, and not Daina`s.
So i hope, he will be successful on his way, but i also hope, he will consider all parts of Windhelm with open eyes, also the dark ones, where the people live whose presence is not appreciated in this city.

      Many thanks dear Heidi
I agree your opinion about the Civil War and I think your Daina is a very respectable person in order to remain neutral in this conflict, as the Jarl Balgruuf, in fact I think they should be the High King, he did not take part but do not let himself pushed around and he treat well his people, to bad that this choice is not available, because it is the Stormcloaks quest that made me sad for him when I had to participate in the attack of his city.
Indeed I have a project for Frankhof with Dunmer of Windhelm since a long time, Frankhof is not a rot person.
