I love this different style you used here, very pleasant always accompanied by beautiful pictures.
Very atmospheric pictures in the interiors and I really like these cold shots of exteriors, these great pines in the snowy landscape are magical, especially on this shot:

I also enjoyed this warm and sweet moment between Grim and Erik, how to you have put the scenes in pictures under Grim's thoughts before sleep is a really good idea!
Grim in the Thalmor Embassy, hahaha!
Poor Grim, Surrounded by all these corrupt elites, I imagine his discomfort. About Elisif, she's really complaining that Elenwen didn't have them often enough?
I don't remember Elisif told that, do you add this sentence for your story or she really told that?
I've always appreciate Elisif, at least I always felt pity for her. But if she really said that, my compassions will be a little less important to her ...
In any case, it is interesting to see that Grim learn more about the Imperials may not be as trust worthy as once thought.
The last shot is lovely too, Grim has beautiful eyes

Aye Elisif does say that - she was all a into Elenwen, like she was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I was very dissapointed in her. As Nataly said she is young and naive so that is probably why. Still it means she has lapped up the cream that the Elenwen has laid down and to me that means Elisif can't be trusted - she seems foolish enough to be easily influenced by the Thalmors.

That being said I think Elisif is a nice person who wants the best for her people ... but that isn't enough to run a country if you are naive enough to trust the Thalmor.

Glad you liked all the images and the story. I am still debating the civil way but for now Grim has enough on his plate so will have to address it later. Thanks very much for the comment!

      Indeed, now you say that...
I remember in the game, that a npc said Torygg achieve all its desires and whims and she had a deep passion for luxury, something like that...
It is true that she is naive and young and I think too, that Elisif is a nice person who wants the best for her people, but whether she is naive or not, be on the side of Thalmor is not a good thing, even dangerous.

Beautiful pictures as always! May I ask how you get your snow to look so nice and 'fluffy' on the trees?

Thank you very much! As for the snow - that is all thanks to the wonderful SFO Mod by Vurt and I am using his newer version, 2.0c, which has the snowy pines built into it.

Man, this is really good stuff; beautiful imagery with a different approach to the story-telling aspect. I'm starting to feel a little sorry for Grim, poor guy's got so much going on now it's starting to stress him out (I often times felt that way myself during gameplay, biting off more than I could chew)

Great job in keeping things in order, for I imagine it takes a lot of careful planning to put everything together into one nice package.

Thanks DOC. Nexus story telling has its cons but one of the perks is the complete freedom to treat each "post" as its own sub story so you get to try out different styles, something I like as it gives me practice. I admit my preferred method is the more third party narrative in active tense intermixed with some first person. Image wise I like the approach I used here but it doesn't always work and sometimes I just need to write a lot to explain things.

Grim has been a little stressed (his quest "log" is pages long!) but feeling a little better with the embassy done and making progress in the guild quests. Once I am done with the main chapters for who Grim's mom is (probably chapters 22 and 23) I hope to do a side story with Erik and Hircine.

      Thanks for the comment!
