I've always thought the textures for the vanilla Imperial heavy armour were a bit... lacking. So I decided to have a go at retexturing them to my liking. Mostly as a way to practise and also kill some time.
The idea is to make it look more like a Roman lorica segmentata.
Note that this is still heavily WIP. Also I'm not exactly what you'd call a texture artist...
Unfortunately, work has been suspended on this project indefinitely. Sadly there are no longer plans to release these textures for the foreseeable future.

I am indeed expecting to release it, because there's a real lack of texture options for this armour. I think even if you don't wear it on your character, it's good to have a nice texture for it because players are bound to see it a lot on soldiers during their playthroughs.
The cuirass is about 90% done now (at least, V1.0 of it), and I just have to do the female cuirass, and then the boots, bracers, and helmet (which should go quite fast once the female cuirass is done) and it'll be ready for release. In the meantime, I'll be posting more WIP shots occasionally to gauge opinions.
I look forward to its release.
