As always love hearing Sam referred to as a the "Walking Holiday" as it is so perfect for him. Serena is cranky as ever but I suspect it is how she shows her affection. She is very possessive though - in some cases thinking of her own happiness over Dannee's (in not wanting her to be tied to Sam officially) although it is also clear that it primarily comes from a desire to protect Dannee. Still she can't mother Dannee to much as that can become suffocating.
Cute to have Sofie bring up the love triangle and it is rather cool to know what that is all about *smile*. Course as Serena hinted he may have ulterior motives but in this case even the ulterior motives are fairly good ones ... well except for getting two friends in some hot water with the locals of Skyrim lol.
Loved this line, "Serana was too astonished to answer; receiving a poke from Sofie was like being bitten by beautiful butterfly." A great way to put it really - it doesn't hurt in the least but when something so beautiful and delicate is irritated enough to poke you .. not good. On the other hand, in Seren'as defense, she is really trying to prevent Dannee from having a broken heart and Serena seems to know only Molag Bal and the betrayal of her own family. From her perspective she is acting on what she knows. A difficult thing for her I am sure.
To comment on the images for a moment - I liked the one with Dannee walking to the shop of the two witches (one of them is very nasty isn't she) and the DOF like effect you used. It made the shot dramatic and made me think of those movies where they use a time-stop like method to make it more dramatic on the main person. Or like when they do a slow-motion hair toss *grin*. You do such nice work on the images and Dannee is a walking fashion show all on her own - I get to see all the latest outfits on Nexus between Dannee and Sam!
Very clever of Sofie to use the autumn leaves as an allergory to Serena's undead state as well. I wonder what will happen when Grim finally runs into her ... I suspect she might be one of the first undead he might consider to not be all bad. Although he has nothing against ghosts really - those restless spirits who through no fault of their own sometimes haunt places. Still Vampires tend to be pretty unsavory *pfft*
The whole Kitten thing was rather fun and I think Sofie is going to be very DANGEROUS when she grows up ... the men better watch out for her! I suspect she will be able to be anything she wants to be. As long as her over-confidence doesn't do her in.

Yeah, Dannee sometimes indeed try to reason her way of love and doesn’t succeed since love often overcomes the sense of logic, so Dannee’s attempts to define it are futile. Thanks again, I loved your way of call Dannee not momma bear but momma dragon, someone definitely will address Dannee as such in a future!
I also enjoy referring to Sam a “Walking holiday”, like you I think it is very fitting title for him. And Serana is as cranky as ever, though indeed sometimes she shows her affection in such way. And indeed she is very very possessive, I guess Molag Bal blood has something to do with it, since his blood add some traits of his character to his vampires, in Serana’s case – the sense of possessiveness, which indeed can result in choosing her happiness over Dannee’s in notion that Dannee must never tie herself to Sam officially. Serana’s intentions to protect Dannee come from her own notion that Daedric Princes are nothing but trouble, but Dannee is grown up and her motherly care for her can really become suffocating in that case.
And Sofie indeed figured it all out, after all she knows Dannee and Serana very well only unlike Serana she has ore positive point of view towards Sam, thus her poke. Serana indeed was surprised, though of course you are right, knowing only Molag Bal Serna indeed tries to save Dannee from being broken hearted by Sam.
Glad that you have liked the shots and thank you very much for your kind words about Dannee being a fashion icon! I took great fun in making that DOF affect on a shot of her walking away, which usually adds an epic feeling of something grand while Dannee ventured to that shop with two witches.. epic deed of Dannee, lol. But seriously those two elven sisters are very nasty especially Taarie, I wonder how with such rude attitude to all customers they did not get banished from the city…
I also wonder about Grim reaction to Serana… she is different from other vampires but it take time to see it. Besides Grim has a uneasy history with vampires, to put it mildly. Dannee also had same problems and in my saga devoted to Dawnguard line I took a long length explaining how Dannee came to trust and finally befriend Serana.
I am very happy that you’ve liked Kitten thing, Sofie can be very witty due to her brilliant instinctive perception of psychology and general love for knowledge that it sometimes give Dannee a suspicion about Sofie being a secret love child of Herma-Mora, lol.

I sometimes do not have time to translate and read all the stories, but I'll try to find the time because your story is really good.
I love this quiet and soothing climate of these three girls going to shop in Solitude, the images are beautiful and their clothes too.
It is very interesting that Dannee sharing her love with Sam who is a Daedric Prince.
I loved how Sophie defends Dannee, with words of Serana seems a little jealous, it is very nice to see that there is a link with your story and that of Grim, I noticed this when she said that Sam was going to Ivarstead to observe a love triangle.
I still had some doubts about the intentions of Sam, he's still a Daedric prince, but now I'm sure Grim risk nothing with Sam, because I'm sure Dannee not wrong about him, I can feel a strong love between them.
I also enjoyed the story of the kitten, it's really a great story to see that Sophie learned to know and to tame kitten over time, despite the warnings of her father.
I love stories that show the love for human beings and animals and it's really great to see this comparison with Serana, whose approach seems similar with time. Sophie is a very smart little girl
Your conclusion about love is remarkable, so true, and what a great
phrase, "Love is what is left when everything else turns to dust…" this is so true, but it is unfortunate that everyone can not enjoy it, because it changes life, fortunately there still hope when love is absent.

Yeah, Dannee love is most unusual and complicated one and she holds hope for herself and Sam. Serana is indeed jealous, mostly of attention that Danne pays to Sam, since Serana was alone almost all her life and Dannee who managed to bring her back from her solitude is like everything to Serana, thus her bashing of Sam.
And you are right, this story and its second part is a crossover with Grim recent adventure where he met with Sam.
Well, Sam doesn't appear as nasty as some other Daedric Princes, mostly he likes to cause mischief and annoy some people, so I can say Grim is pretty safe with him.
Thank you very much again for your kind words! The story with Kitten was real time event inspiration, and Sofie did a good thing with taming little cat, since everyone needs love. And Serana is very much in alike poor kitten who was bitten and tossed around by his own siblings, only in Serana's case it were her parents who did not care about her, so Sofie chose the right tactic to befriend Serana.

And Sofie I think made right comparison about a little kitten who was always pushed around and Serana, who was treated the same way, so the girl managed to find a way to her heart...
