Seriously, why does this happen

I downloaded SkyTest, went to Rorikstead, looked over and saw a sabre cat walking in the cow pen near the inn. At first I was startled that it did not attack me or the animals, but when it started nuzzling one of the cows, I knew I had no reason to fear.
