I really like the carving on the helm horns in this last one, exquisite!

      Thank you Bass
Anyway with Kettlewitch tips i've improved the first and the tird helmet, the horns are now more defined and the carvings more clear.

They all look great. These helmets along with your deathlord weapons will be one awesome pack indeed.

Thank you Cash, and consider that there is also an armor, if i manage how to correctly support the weight slider...

These are great - I like the one with large horns, almost Minotaur like - very savage and powerful looking.

I've decided, i'll add all the three variations, the weapon set i'm working on and, if i'll learn how to, also an heavier variant of the ancient nord armor.

I think it's the best solution, more variety and everyone can pick the one he loves

There all looking great in game dude

The angles on the third variant horns may be fractionally too sharp, a quick, small bevel in blender/max will kill those lines and if you keep it small shouldn't mess with the textures too much.

Smooth vertices is one of my best friends in blender

anyway just nitpicking, still they all look great

For that helmet i've used a modifier that add new faces to the model (i've forgotten the Name ) and the result is better than the first one i've made with mammouth horns. I'm still searching for a better solution, cause the shadows aren't good on the horns...

I think 'bevel' is 'chamfer' in Max, here’s what I'd do in Max.....

and scroll down to page 3/4 of this

      http://wiki.polycount.com/3DTutorials/Modeling%20High-Low%20Poly%20Models%20for%20Next%20Gen%20Games

for the theory behind why rendering engines don't like sharp angles.

      Hope it helps
