About this image
This is a player home mod that I have been working on ever since I got my hands dirty with the Creation Kit. Well, it seems that I have gotten my hands on the Kit a little too late, because it appears that Skyrim (sadly) is starting to loose focus by many gamers worldwide, and I have noticed it not being very popular any more. So, I have decided at this point, should I continue this mod that I have worked so hard on, and have it be for nothing? Or should I not waste my time and wait for the next Elder Scrolls game to start modding? I am unsure, and as much as it pains me to say this, I really love Skyrim, but it looks like I have to start moving on to other games. So, in the comments section, I want YOU fellow Skyrim-lovers to decide whether or not I, theBreadThief, should continue my hard work on this mod, or if its not worth my time. I will post screen shots so you can observe my work so far.

Just IMO, but I don't think you should decide to mod based on how popular (unpopular?) Skyrim currently is. If you're passionate about what you're creating, having fun making the mod, and really want to see it completed, continue with it. Don't hinge your creation on other people.
If you aren't enjoying yourself or are just losing interest yourself, that is when you should probably stop. Don't delete the mod file though. Never know, you might get an urge to continue working on it in the future.
Skvindt has a point. I've made my own mods pretty much entirely for myself, and uploaded them just in case others might want them too. If you're getting tired of working on yours, I'd say shelve it for when you aren't tired of it.
Also, don't worry about the game's apparent popularity. People are still playing and making mods for Morrowind, after all, and it came out in 2002. (Heck, Bethesda is even still selling it.) I imagine Skyrim will be similar in that respect.
