A lost bit of history from the Stormcloaks side of the civil war of the fourth era in Skyrim was that it was not just pure blooded Nords who answered the call. Many men and women not born of the northern blood and some of those whose blood was mixed with those from distant lands also fought. Keeta was just such one of those with the mixed blood, a daughter of a Redguard and Nord who returned to Skyrim to honor her ancestors in battle and to reclaim what land was historically their own from the clutches of a crumbling empire. Growing up in Hammerfell the new found pride the Redguards had in defeating the Elves only aspires one to believe Skyrim standing alone against an ancient foe once more is not a method of entertaining death. Keeta was stationed in The Rift throughout the civil war tasked to battle incoming Imperial reinforcements coming from the south.

The Stormblade waged war in such a manner that Imperial army could only label her as an absolute menace to the war effort and tried multiple times to negotiate cunning and deceptive ceasefires with her and her men hidden in the lush forest. Each time however, no soldier of the empire lived to tell the tale about a Redguard who commanded men that broke the very backbone of supply lines to the imperial army. Every morning she looked onwards, awaiting the Imperials to haplessly try to bring more supplies and reinforcement up from Cyrodiil - They never got to Helgen or Falkreath.
