Okay, so the red colour of the original armour doesn't fit in at all with the rest of Skyrim. It was too vibrant and looks out of place.

So I replaced that red with black which due to the lighting of Skyrim appears as very dark brown.

This in my opinion, blends better with the rest of Skyrim as well as my character's blonde hair and looks way cooler.

:: Note: I have given up on trying to make my sword's positioning look realistic without having to place it on the back.
