A tip for those who'll listen:
When taking a screenshot of landscapes, set your FOV to 55 degrees.
Most game engines still base their renderings on the 35mm film cameras. These cameras typically were set to FOV 55, which on 35mm film balances between wide angle (fish-eye) and telescopic fields of view. Most games, including Skyrim, are defaulted to 65 degrees to add some peripheral vision at the expense of slight distortion. Ever bump into the back of an enemy because he looked about a foot farther away? Thank the wide angle FOV for that.

As for portraits, typically you want to be far back and zoomed in to avoid distortion. I recommend setting your FOV to either 10 or 20 degrees when doing portraits. Ever wonder why photographers stand so far back when photographing models? That's the reason.
